I didn't see the match but if he had his foot under the rope then it is not over.
Well it should not be at least.
But a third straight one on one PPV match?
I think it will be a triple threat with Sheamus or Christian may have to win his next shot by winning the MITB for SD.

Cena and Orton had 4 in a row one on one matches in '09. It's clearly possible. It's not like the Christian/Orton matches are bad like the Orton/Cena matches were. I want a Orton/Christian ladder match as the final match of the feud.

I find it funny how people overreact whenever a favorite loses. Christian is in the best position he's been in for his whole career. He'll get the title again, just please stop pissing and moaning.

How am I overreacting? Another troll w/ no life trying to act cool on an internet forum. I simply brought up the fact that Christian has lost 3 straight matches to Orton and wanted to know if anybody else thought that this was killing his momentum.

I still dont think Christian will ever get the title again. He wasnt in "the plans" as it was still expected that Edge would be around. Christian will be the typical heel that keeps challenging over and over and then eventually drop back down to a mid card level.

People need to realize that this sports entertainment stuff is 90% story and 10% wrestling.....they are trying to build the story up to something.
Would it really be that awesome for all of you if your favorite ALWAYS won the belt clean on their first try?
Or does months and months, sometimes YEARS of being "this close" make it seem more special when they finally get that belt for the first time or get the belt back?
I think everybody takes this way too serious and you all try and take control over the product and feel like if your favorites aren't all in the main event then the entire company sucks.
WWE is just like any other TV show. They have a script, they have an idea where they are going...let's just watch it and see what happens. Does anybody watch Law & Order and freak out like 'DAMN they solved the case again! This is BS man, they need to start pushing the serial killer or have the killer turn face!"...no, we watch other shows like it's a show and when it's over we don't take it with us and worry about it endlessly all day everyday.

I understand what your saying. They need to be built up, Christian will win the belt back somehow. The only way this ends without Christian winning the belt is right when Jericho returns they do a loser leaves smackdown match. And the Law and Order thing doesn't make much sense because it usually takes them a while for them to capture the criminal. Everything needs built up.

I'm traveling the world and earning a college degree, so yes, I definitely have no life in comparison to someone making a thread about his favorite wrestler. He didn't even lose cleanly. I can guarantee that the feud will continue with Christian pointing out that he was robbed and his foot was under the rope. No momentum lost.

And the Law and Order thing doesn't make much sense because it usually takes them a while for them to capture the criminal. Everything needs built up. Ok, maybe the Law & Order example was bad....but my point is that WWE is the only show I can think of where people OBSESS about how they use the characters. Other shows, you just sit down and watch and see what happens and when it's over you go "that was good" or you say "that wasn't that great", and you move on. Let's use South Park for an example. People watch the episode and either go 'that was awesome' or they go 'that sucked', but people don't sit there and argue about "well butters should have done this, and I hate how Cartman is always the bad guy, and Kyle was pretty much not even in this one, and why are they trying to hold down Kenny, he's never going to get his own spin off if he's always stuck in the same pattern of behavior every week".... You get my point? WWE is a show, the wrestlers are characters. I think people look at Zack Ryder and REALLY think he's Zack Ryder, not Matt Cardona. People just lose reality when it comes to wrestling. If Christian Bale plays Batman in a movie, he's seen as "Oh yeah, Christian Bale, he's played Batman a few times. I like his other movies too. But if you're Jason Reso, to the fans you ARE Christian. You are Christian night and day, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of every year you are Christian. That's all you are. Everything you do revolves around Christian to the fans. They don't see the wrestlers as being basically actors who play their characters on TV.

honestly I think Christian is in a great position after this.
the match was good and Christian has a claim that he was "cheated".I think he will regain the belt from Orton and hold it until Summerslam

Law and order I can't go live and cheer on my favorite character. Nor is their merchants for me to buy and wear to support my favorite actor. People take wrestling more serious because its a business of what have you done for me lately and if we enjoy guys we want them to succeed and be on top. It's more like sports than a drama or sitcom. Scripted or not we still get behind guys we like and don't enjoy watching them lose every week.

And you posting on my thread about my favorite wrestler...
I get what your saying, and yes the build up over years and years was great when Christian finally won the title, but they took the damn thing away from him 2 days later. Ruined the moment and made him look like nothing more than a transitional champ.

I'm not usually one to compain about one of may favs losing and I'm certainly not that worried about heels looking weak in feuds from time to time (people are always moaning about a heel looking weak and not getting clean wins, who gives a damn, they're heels!).
BUT, this is a 3rd straight loss in a World title match for Christian. I don't care if his foot was in the ropes, meaning he was screwed, at the end of the day he has lost 3 of em in a row. Surely that kills his momentum... how does he even deserve another shot. He lost his title, he lost the rematch, now he's lost another rematch, and what? He's gonna get another rematch. Eh, I'm past caring now personally.

I say take Orton out of the title picture and put Christian as champion to feud with Daniel Bryan or another guy WWE should be pushing. Im sick of the same stuff always. I went to the Supershow in Jersey this weekend and saw the Christian and Bryan match it was some good stuff for a house show imagine with a proper build up.

Come on guys, Christian is main-eventing in arenas around the world! That's much better than being a babyface champion... main-eventing arenas around the world!

Det. Chioda ed the pooch. Lil 'Naitch wouldn't have screwed up. His momentum isn't dead, but his chances of winning the World Championship any time soon might be.
