Evening all. I have today recieved a couple of interesting items in the mail. I haven't had the chance to photograph them yet but here are the photos that tempted me into buying them - What they appear to be is some kind of pre production item for the WCW Talkers of Kevin Nash and Goldberg (note the slits on the mouth) They are certainly different items. I will add more pics in the coming days. **EDIT** So its now know these are pre production items for the WCW Head Knockers series - at present we only have the toy fair pics of these but i'd be very interested to see pictures close up of the final product if anyone can help!

Yea they were released... They are talking wall plaques, they were like a childs security system (whenever someone walked past them they would talk, infrared light)... I don't remember who was all in the set but there was these 2 and a few others (I think sting/hulk and possibly ddp)..That might be sting and not Nash (I think nash always had the goatee?) Great Protos but unfortunatly they are very simple to replicate (not saying they are but with so many protos of things showing up nowadays it has to raise a caution flag)..........

Wow, very cool, would look great on the wall. What are they made from? (Looks like a plastic base with clay molded on top)

I was thinking that the one looked more like Sting than Nash also.

Just logged on and read all the comments - this is why I love posting on here and othr forums - the knowledge on lines is fantastic! Thanks for all the info and feedback.
Certainly now I can 100% percent see that one is Goldberg the other Sting.
In terms of the item - they are certainly prototype stage - I'm not sure what stage of the process they would be at - hopefully when I get the change to photo them closer people can get a better look.
I'd certainly be interested to see if these ever did make it onto the shelves.
The guy who I brought these from also has another WCW prototype and coupled with that some superhero prototypes too.

Yes they saw the light of day. They just never sold at my TRU. They just sat there until the store closed down.

I was hoping that they and the Muscle Flexors never saw the shelves. If they are out there, I have alot more to look for.

I didn't see they were listed under Headknockers...My bad... Anyhow, I didn't just get lucky claiming what they were and what they did before the toybiz ad was posted here..... I don't recall them being sold in that style box, I thought it was a open face black box but I'm not positive on that, I know for a fact that talking wall plaques were released by WCW which resembles the ones below (moving mouth and were activated when you walked past them), I distintcly remember (which is rare for me) that damn sting going off everytime I passed him and thought to myself.. Damn do the batteries ever die in them damn things (they warmed the shelves forever.....)... I would think stom has these (the wall plaques not the production pieces posted) or has defiantly atleast seen them????I will have to go scour the net here in a few and see if I can find them.
