solecollector.com/Sneakers/News/News--Nike-Re-Signs-Michael-Vick-To-Endrosement-Deal/Thought this could generate some discussion. Personally, I've always been a huge fan of the Zoom Vick models. I still wear my IV's, so I can't wait to see what Nike will cook up in the future. And I really don't give a crap about his off-field stuff. Don't get me wrong it's horrible and inexcusable behavior, but I don't factor in his personal life when buying my sneakers. Chuck said it best.

Glad to see that they've re-signed him. I am of the same mindset. The man has in fact changed. He's turned his life around from the mistakes that he made. I am not condoning what he did, and it is inexcusable. But he's made the changes necessary, he's proved that Commissioner Goodell did not make a mistake in reinstating him to the NFL.

I have been wondering if he was going to re-sign with them. I mean, I don't watch much football, but Vick has always been a favorite of mine. The guy had a great season last year, and put on some pretty good performances. I'm glad to see the 180 degree turnaround by Vick. He goes from losing pretty much everything, and now through hard work and determination he is getting some of it back.

I'll wait to see if he is truly changed after he has left football. Right now, he has probably his last shot to make millions, so he has every reason to play good boy. Maybe he did change, I hope so. But it will take more than actually studying your playbook and a few public appearances to convince me.

Usually people still hate him or others take the "he paid his debt" stance. But the truth is Michael Vick will not be defined by the next few years, it's gonna be the long run. Much like OJ, lol.
