Just an idea, but could all of this Cena/Punk stuff lead to Jericho returning?
Hear me out, say Punk wins, and Cena gets fired. Raw has no belt, and no big star, hell maybe bring that ROH tag team in and Cabana and maybe they can start a sort of invasion thing. Right, have this for a month or so, and then bring back Jericho to save Raw. It gets Jericho back, and it makes him face in a logical way.
Just an idea like, but I know that if it happened it'd be great viewing.

No, he should come back and feud with Orton again. Save us part 2 would work that way, Considering save us part 1 involved orton.

Yeah, if he's returning as a heel, then there's no reason why he shouldn't be after Orton, considering he's the man who 'took him out' to begin with.

It would fit really good and would be better as feuding vs John Cena or who ever. [as an example] Chris Jericho vs Randy Orton would be just awesome!

Jericho has said in interviews if he is to return it will be with a completly different persona and style.
If he is used as a face i'd say he'll get bigger pops than Cena.

I don't understand why people are so convinced Jericho is coming back anytime soon. It seems like we have a similar discussion every week.
When Jericho leaves, it's because he's burnt out and wants to do other things. Most importantly, he wants to take a break.
Thus far, he hasn't had a chance to do that. He went on tour with Fozzy immediately after leaving WWE in the fall, then went into training for Dancing With the Stars, then competing on Dancing with the Stars, now he's been on tour with Fozzy and is continuing to tour.
That puts Jericho's return date to late August at the earliest. Don't you think he's going to want to go home and be with his family for a while?
If Jericho comes back, I'd say we're at LEAST another six months away from his return, if not more.
With that being said, as others have mentioned, Jericho said that if he did come back, he'd reinvent himself. So the "Save_Us" gimmick won't be returning.

I don't see this happening. I see him returning as a heel as that is when he is at his best.

Jericho and Orton didn't really work for me. But jericho has stated that if he comes back, he wants to come back with a new identity and character. He will likley be face, because people will refuse to boo a legend like Jericho at first. He left 05 as a top heel don't forget....

I hope when Jericho returns he will be a face for a bit, then go to his early-mid 2000s tweener role. Anything but that boring gimmick he has had since 2008 that got old after a few months.

With that being said, as others have mentioned, Jericho said that if he did come back, he'd reinvent himself. So the "Save_Us" gimmick won't be returning. I completely agree, at this point in his career he can return whenever he feels like it. Yes Jericho is a natural heel, but he's one of the few in wrestling history who can legitimately be the most over main eventer as a heel or face. So I'd like for him to return as a face for a while, and then eventually return as a bad guy as its what he does best, plus he needs to be a heel for (I hope) Jericho/Undertaker at WM28. I could see him return around the same time Punk does, and that would be a dream feud of mine. And for those of you wanting Y2J/Orton again...did you even watch their last feud/match? I REALLY don't want Jericho's return wasted on a guy as boring as Orton. Jericho has had phenomenal chemistry with all the greats (even Steamboat at his late age), and can put on AT WORST a decent match and feud with anyone mediocre. That says A LOT about Orton.
