My daughter just rewatched the last two Hobbit films.
Today I watched one of my all-time favorite movies...Sergeant Rutledge.

well my viewing of the the 3rd Hobbit has been delayed.....but not for long.
Tonight I watched
Assault on Arkham.
If the live action Suicide Squad movie is half as good as this? then they will be onto something great.
The Outlaw Josey wales
ALWAYS a treat.

The WrestlerWhilst it may be damaging to the business and depressing, this is a bloody good movie in my opinion.

Another good one..."Dyin' ain't much of a livin' boy." Pale Rider has always been a favorite of mine. "Nothing like a good piece of hickory." I still get goose bumps when he rides past the cabin window. lol

Home Alone 2. One of the few sequels I prefer over the original.

Watched 'Battle Royale' on Netflix for the first time last night after putting it off for months. I loved it, and it makes me want to watch more Japanese movies.. It didn't quite live up to the graphic novels (I own a couple).. But it was super ed up and fun to watch.. I couldn't help but think throughout the movie though, how many similarities it had to 'The Hunger Games'. If I didn't know any better, I'd say Suzanna Collins used alot of the material from 'Battle Royale' to craft 'The Hunger Games'.. Some stuff seemed blatant.

The Pyramid
I run a website and podcast about movies with some friends, and I've seen over 100 movies released in 2014. One of our goals is to be as positive as possible when we discuss movies. That said, the Pyramid is the biggest piece of sh*t I've ever seen in theaters. I have no clue how it got distribution.

Exodus: Gods and Kings
Story was fine, but like everything else Ridley Scott directs it's visually captivating.

The Theory of Everything (2014)
The film is part biopic and part love story, following not only the life and career of world renowned astrophysicist Stephen Hawking, but his relationship with his noble wife, Jane Wilde, and her struggle to remain loyal to him as they fight tirelessly to break new ground in medicine and science, and defy impossible odds.
It's a heart-wrenching story of human will with extraordinary performances that transform the actors into the very people they portray.
