Friday the 13th - 3.5/5
Nice nostalgic trip, but definitely nothing compared to today's modern horror movies.

The Martian. Loved the book, loved the movie. Highly recommend both.

Curse of Chucky.
Disappointed.. A movie that tried entirely too hard when in all reality, a Child's Play reboot should be able to write itself.

DOPE on bluray. Pretty good, plenty of cool 90s music.

Randomly started an X-men movie marathon because my friend picked up the collection on Blu-ray and she didn't remember any of them but remembered loving them. X-Men 7.5/10 solid start to the franchise but definitely an early superhero movie. X2 8/10 still my favorite of the originals, and it held up nicely. Adore this one. The Last Stand 6/10 not as awful as I remember but still not very good. Grammer as beast remains the highlight other than that a very forgettable and generally not good movie. Hopefully watch the next 4 on Thursday. Not looking forward to X-Men Origins, but I've never seen The Wolverine so there's that. Fun times ahead with the new gen too.

I just watched 12 Rounds 3: Lockdown. I fell asleep towards the middle of it. it was enjoyable, bits of Indiana Jones are borrowed from this -- interesting to see Spielberg's influences That was just on TCM the other day. I recorded it for my wife as she loved that movie back in the day.

I watched and reviewed The Martian earlier this week. I thought it was a solid 2/4.
