...and catch it, I did. Wow. Fantastic...not much more to say other than that, just a fantastic film all round. Watched Civil War again. Loved it. ...make that a third time. Saw it late on Saturday night with an old workmate who didn't know who most of the characters were...but was thoroughly impressed regardless. Me? I just grinned the whole way through again.

The Resurrection of Jake the Snake.
Man - didn't expect to see it on Netflix today. Watched it without hesitation and had nary a dry eye throughout the whole thing.
God bless DDP...well done Jake, and well done Scott.

God bless DDP...well done Jake, and well done Scott. I was just coming on here to post something along these lines. Its such a heartbreaking film. But so inspiring at the same time. You could tell Jake and Scott really wanted to change and DDP deserves all sorts of humanitarian awards for what he's doing for people. I love that guy more and more everyday. Now, as for the last film I watched...I just finished "The Ugly" for the seven billionth time lol. Hands down, one of the most underrated horror films to come along in the last 25 or so years.

blow johnny depp has the best hair/clothes combos of his life in this movie. forgot how good it was, with the one downside being how much ing slack they cut this guy for being a total piece of work - ie. using the movie as a sympathy tool about his daughter, painting the mother as essentially completely to blame for the family's downfall and problems.

Scarface
This is actually the first time I've seen it. It's a great and iconic movie, deserving of its praises.

The Resurrection Of Jake The Snake. It's made me want to do a bit of DDP Yoga now. Netflix for me too. I saw a girl at the supermarket today who looked exactly like Esther when she goes crazy at the end, a bit taller though obviously. I'd be lying if I said I didn't look a few times.
