I wasn't going to get him at first because I have Basic Series 1 and that was enough for me. But I picked one up for a friend on Saturday and it's been sitting on my kitchen table since then while I try to find a box small enough to ship his figures in and as it's been sitting there it's been growing on me so I picked it up today at TRU. So hopefully I'll get to the PO by Saturday to mail his figures out to him and also send out for my two Vince promo figures.

I think my TRU put them out this morning, because they still had boxes that they were packing out and I didn't see it there on Tuesday...So I'm guessing the truck came last night or this morning.

PJ, I really like the Orton fix-up. I had a question for you. How did you get the shoulders out without breaking the figure. I tried this once, and nearly cracked the figure. Nice work, sir.

Great pickups and fixups. I would check Target for an EG Piper. The ones near me just moved them and TNA figs to 30% off clearence

Yes I was at Target yesterday but Legends were still $11 and the EG's were still $14. For Orton I cracked open the top part of the torso.

Hey PJ, did your TRU have a big Vince deal set/display? Did you see what other figs were around of Legends, DF & Elites and even basics (that don't count). I'm comparing everybody's TRU plus that could giVe Me a heads up when I stop by at Mine.
Thanks in advance!

My TRU had the display but they never put it out. All they had were 3X5 tag/photo cards throughout the aisle promoting it. Sunday when I went there my TRU guy said it was still in the back, but not setup yet. He asked what figures I was looking for and after I told him he brought out my 2 Series 9 Orton figures along with a Miz & a Ryder. I went back a couple days later and the display still wasnt put out, but what they did was put all the figures from the display on the pegs as the aisle was filled with Elite 9, Basic 11 & Legends 5 all of which wasn't there 2 days earlier. I know it was all from the display because on Sunday when I got there there were no Elites or Legends on the pegs. All they had were DM 2 & 3 along with a few random Basics TLC & Series 10. When I asked him if they had anything else the computer showed nothing in the back. He did say that Elite 8 was coming on their next truck that was coming on Wednesday. So that's when I mentioned the display and he said "That doesn't come from our warehouse it comes from the vendor and we might have that in back it doesn't show in our inventory" And 5 minutes later that's when he came out saying it was still in the back not setup and what figures did I want.
So fast forward to Tuesday the pegs & shelves were filled with all the items that were supposed to be in the display and they still hadn't received their truck yet. Then yesterday when I went back they had received their truck (they were still unloading it)but had new Rumblers, Elite 8 and more Basic 10's on the pegs. Along with the remaining Elite 9, Legends 5 & Basic 11 from the display.

Thanks. I was thinking about using the Elite 9 attire, but decided to go with the Elite 2 instead.

I was never a fan of you display before PJ It was too cluttered but Im really liking your display now!
Kind of a coinsidence this but I was watching Roddy Pipers story yestaday (as he's a fav of mine) and was thinking to myself that the body for both Orton and Piper where too skinny and it put me off a bit.
Wish I could do that with mine as I really think it would improve the figure but the most Ive done is swap arms, legs and heads.
It really is a great improvement and Im getting anogther Orton from Classifieds so I may try to get a cheap Funk from America and do the same so I have too different attires (and a better built Bob Orton). Just a quick head and leg swap.

Thanks. Well Piper was just a head & limbs swap. And I painted the trunks. My 2-Pack Piper was a figure that had a fused leg that broken off.

I need The Model, Tornado and a legitimate Andre with exclusive big hands mold and I'm set. Not happy with Big Boss Man or The Mountie from Jakks but they'll do.
