I thought it was really strange that Ziggler wasn't in the MITB match. I think he has been a fairly big focal point on Raw in recent weeks and I think it's weird he is not on the card. Did anyone else expect him to be in the MITB match and then get caught off guard that he wasn't?
It would be one thing if he was having a title match, but neither midcard champ is represented on the show as of right now. I guess he could end up still having a match on the card that ends up being a squash of sorts against Zack Ryder or Chris Masters, but I find it hard to believe they thought it was a great idea to give K2 and Brie Bella match time at MITB and not Ziggler? Thoughts?

Why he doesn't have a match on the card (that was advertised at least) I don't know. Why he isn't in the MITB match? Well he sees his belt as the most prestigious and that it should be the top title, in his eyes, wouldn't trying for a belt he doesn't see on the same level as his own be going a step down?

I know the matches are all going to be long, but I was really wanting to see Dolph defend his title. I'm really looking forward to it, but at the same time its 2 championship matches, and then 2 money in the bank matches, then 2 matches that probly won't be very good. I know the other 4 will make up for it but I kinda wish there was only a RAW MITB and then had a few other matches.

Yeah his storyline with his belt seems to be why he isn't in it but I still think that is stupid and he should have just said when he wins it he would just win the wwe title and retire it or something if he really hated it in favor of the US title. I do hope he gets a title match but there are no real contenders not already in MITB matches? Maybe he and Vickie will come out and have a promo or something?

He can fight Zeke. He has a belt and nothing to do, too.

I bet he comes out and cuts a promo. That's what they seem to be doing with main guys who aren't on the card.

The fact that divas rematch #327 is on the card and Ziggler isn't is a damn shame. Other than the chance of Kelly's shorts riding up, that match is gonna provide no entertaining moments.
I say have Ziggler come out and complain that the premiere superstar and the U.S. Champion is not on PPV. Then Teddy Long comes out and says, hey, Smackdown's Intercontinental Champion doesn't have a match tonight either, how about it? Holla. Boom Champion vs. Champion match.

In all honesty, what I think happened was that Ziggler was gonna be in the MITB and Del Rio would've been in the title match had Punk not resigned.
Punk probably resigned and was allowed to be in the title match.

Honestly it should be Drew McIntyre vs Dolph Ziggler for the United States Championship at Monry in the Bank after Ziggler hid behind the ring on this past monday's RAW and didn't help Drew Mcintyre in the 2 on 1 handicap match letting Big Show go onto destroy Drew McIntyre ^^^ In the process, Drew - Face, Dolph - Heel, New US Champion We can dream can't we

I too am hoping we see Drew vs Dolph sooner than later. Anything that gets McIntyre more TV time.
And the thing that's odd about the lack of Ziggler at MITB is, I've always thought he preformed well in last years match. I'd rather him have been in there instead of Swagger.

Well he sees his belt as the most prestigious and that it should be the top title, in his eyes, wouldn't trying for a belt he doesn't see on the same level as his own be going a step down? Yeah that makes a lot of sense, and I am completely fine with that because I really loved that promo, but then Kofi, who he is seemingly in the middle of feuding with, is in the match. Maybe he interferes in the match, or as has been suggested maybe he cuts a promo, or even ends up having an impromptu match, but it was just really strange to me. A NOCs type match against Zeke would be ok I guess, but that could be a thing where one guy comes off looking weak and I don't think either guy needs that to happen. As for Drew McIntyre, meh. It would be hard to care about a face turn without any build, and him showing up tonight and being like "i'm pissed and face now" would be no build. Obviously, I hope he does something, anything, but I just feel like if they were going to go with the US Title is the only thing that matters, especially if Punk is leaving with the WWE Title, angle that they would have played up a match for him. I can definitely see a promo though where he says "later tonight when Punk leaves with the title, I'll be the top of the food chain in WWE" or something to that degree.

Last year, he and Danielson had the match of the night. This year, he's talking about Vince McMahon's breath.

I'm hoping that after what happened on Monday, he and McIntyre start feuding. Aren't they both heels though? Yeah but I think the idea would be to turn McIntyre face over the whole situation. Ziggler pretty much let McIntyre get destroyed so it could be used as an opportunity for Drew to stand up to Ziggler or whatever. Either way, it would be meaningless. If people want to see McIntyre turn face then let WWE do it sort of right, that being give the fans at least a small reason to care as to why he is turning face. If he all of a sudden he came out and worked face in a match against Ziggler tonight it would do nothing for McIntyre imo.

He is probably the most surprising person not currently scheduled but I definitely see him getting thrown into a last minute match or cutting a promo at the least.
