Does anyone know what the deal is with the little ponytail hairdo on the first Mattel HBK sculpt (two-packs 1, Superstar Matchups)? Facially I like that one a lot better than the other one, but the hair annoys me. It's not accurate to how his hair was in 2008 when these figures were planned... I don't think it's accurate to his hair since about 2003. The only thing I can think of is the hairstyle was done for the Entrance Greats figure for WM12, and they made the face a bit older so they could use it for a couple of current figures too.

Jakks used that out of date hair style as well and it really bugged me when I saw the first mattel hbk figure had it aswell. As for the other mattel hbk headscan I really like it and I don't understand why people don't like it other than in elite 3 his hair looked a bit ginger.
