Hi everyone
It should be no secret, that Mattel has unveiled a ton of new stuff at SDCC 2011. Some good, some bad. The Alex Riley figure, is that meant to be Alex Riley honestly? I'm sorry, but I would buy that "battle pack" simply for the Miz. Rey Mysterio vs Cody Rhodes "battle pack", great accessories, but hasn't Mr Mysterio just gone and got more tattoos on his arms? It seems like we will never get an updated Rey at this rate. Cena, Hart Defining Moments, both will find a home at my place. Andre exclusive, looking forward to that. Elite 11 and 12, "gimme a hell yeah!" Only if Punk had the Pepsi and cobra arm tattoos. More R2WM 27 maybe? Elite Collection Flashback, brilliant idea. Basic belts would be more appealing if in colour. Love the Alberto dog wearing a Mysterio mask. Finally a Cena with no armbands no need to get a new fig every six months. Are you completely satisfied? I think that Mattel could have put more work into Riley, new r truth is good, DM good, hundreds of Rey's good. What did everyone else enjoy?

2packs 12 being cancelled, I was expecting a McGillicutty & Husky Harris 2pack. Also no lineups for B13(which I presume will have Vicki in it) and B14. On the other hand though we are getting 2 PPV sets of basic figures but no debuts sadly.
I also wish they would've done one more set of Legends and the lineup wouldve been Arn Anderson, Andre The Giant, Rockers Marty Jannetty, Rockers Shawn Michaels, Boy Toy Shawn Michaels, and Tully Blanchard.
I'm disappointed that we're only getting 5 of the 17 names listed for classics too. My picks: -King Kong Bundy -Arn Anderson -Tully Blanchard -Tito Santana -Don Muraco OR Miss Elizabeth
Also upset they didnt state what Macho King will be in, plus I wish he was in long gold/purple tights instead of plain purple trunks. Great figure anyways, I'm guessing it's DM 6.
I dropped Half a G at RSC alone yesterday and today, that says it all on how I feel about the new products coming out!!!

They delivered The Rock, Elite Danielson.. A nice CM Punk and Gabriel.. Sin Cara proto.
I don't have enough time in my day to explain what they failed to deliver. Such a disappointing Comic Con for me this year.

I don't understand what there's to complain about. They showed the next 2 series for each line (almost each). Gave us the news we've been dying to hear AND worked in an awesome Punk "promo"... I'd say this was a damn good showing, from Mattel.

Mattel showed some incredibly amazing stuff, to even suggest that they didn't deliver proves that a lot of people here are just impossible to please. I mean seriously, what more do you people want?

2-packs coming with good accessories is great because anymore I buy two packs for 1 guy in them. Now I think they will be a little more sought after even though they are basic.
I was hoping to SEE the DDP figure, but now we have to wait for a vote to see if it will really get released. Ouch.
And all the elites show were great. I'm not too thrilled at the flash backs taking up spots for current people, but if they are going to release Cena Orton Miz & Rey every set then I suppose it's better.

Best: DM Bret Hart, New Nexus CM Punk, Elite Daniel Bryan, The Rockers (and knowing when they will be released), introduction of Battle Packs, possibility of getting Miss Elizabeth
Worst: Alex Riley. It just looks bad. I bet it will look better in person though.
I'd also like to mention that the U.S. Champion Sheamus is awesome. I won't get it because I don't collect basics... but I think that figure is being overlooked simply because it's in the shadow of a lot of other great figures.
This wasn't a "big splash" to me.. but I am satisfied. I am happiest about being in the know about the status of the Legends line.

The only thing that dissapointed me was lack of new Legends. Would have loved to have seen HBK in his tights, New Age Outlaws, Diesel, etc..
Other than that nothing beside the personal choice of attire. Would have preffered green attire Punk for example.

i wanted to see more new legends figures. we'd already seen andre and the rockers, so the only new ones were shango, kane, gooker and bret. i'm not counting macho since he already has a few legends figures so doesn't count as new.
was really hoping they'd show more. especially DDP.

I thought it was pretty good. Really excited about Elite Danielson, Gabriel, Short-Haired Punk, Del Rio, Kane, and Vickie.
My only gripe is that I would have liked to have seen more Diva's. Just one, at least. Layla, Gail Kim or The Bella's would have been really cool to see. But I guess they'll just have to wait until later on in the series.

I'd say overall the showing they had at this years Comic Con was just a let down in my opinion. They built it up with so much hype and it was nothing compared to last year.
The Good: Debut Kane Papa Shango Elite Bryan, Miz, Gabriel, Punk DM Bret Hart Rockers (knowing that they are finally being released)
The Bad: No new Divas shown No Legends HBK, Diesel, Booker, Trish etc No new Ultimate Warrior figures No tag title w/Gabriel No Trent Barreta figure No Basic 13 or 14 DM John Cena (the jersey/shirt just makes him look really fat and the US Spinner looks tiny) List of 17 people to chose from for Legends (could have been way better)

Just to keep it short they did a great job on the elite Lineups and we got out current rock which was a huge win for me.
Obviously the legends line was one we all wish had better news. I would have liked to seen actual protos of the legends we have to vote for to be made.

I appreciate all of Mattels hard work and love that they truly listen to the fans. My one disappointment is that we won't be seeing as many Legends. Those are the ones that I love the most, so it's too bad that we won't be getting as many. But let's be thankful that we get at least some. I love all of the elites and have no problem with the flashbacks. In fact I think it's kind of cool. But hey, I'm biased. I'm 30 and have been a wrestling fan since I was 8, so the old school wrestlers are right up my alley.
I can't wait to see what they have to say about the RKO/Punk action figure. It looks amazing! I feel like a lot of people are disappointed with a lot of things, but IMO, Mattel just announced a ton of figures for us to collect. Let's be thankful!

i loved what Mattel showed by evidence of the $300 i spent on ringside last night, however I wish they would have showed new basics (13/14) and 2 packs 12, and I was disappointed with the legends news, but hopefully things will work out in the end

Vickie looks good. Glad she got new boots although it isn't a very versatile new piece...can't really think of anytime it could be reused.
SDCC was a huge letdown for diva fans.
Gail Kim Layla Alicia Fox The Bella Twins Tamina
All wrestlers still without a figure that should have come before Vickie. On top of that, Vickie was not even announced for a series and will be coming out sometime in 2012. Lame.

The only real letdown for me was the legends. I liked collecting the line and wouldn't have minded so much if they were strictly online as that could make more room for the other lines in stores. What bothers me is that they will only be doing one legend at a time on that site. It's gonna be cool when they put out a legend I want but its gonna suck when they put out legends I don't want. Plus I checked out that site and it's confusing as hell. I couldn't find any WWE products and when I types WWE into the search it came up with no results.
Aside from that I thought they showed some great stuff. I feel like I'm in the minority but I love that Riley figure. When I get him I'll give him black kneepads but that's it. I'll admit that I screamed when I saw Bret in all his glory. The people who complained that he comes with a belt are insane. Why would you complaining about getting more for your money? Daniel Bryan's elite looked awesome, as did Punk, Barret, Gabriel, Del Rio, Current Rock, Flashback Kane, and Papa Shango (it makes me feel really old that I actually want that figure). The Sin Cara proto is cool looking, I just wish they had a painted version ready. The fact that it's not painted yet makes me think they may give him that Mistico colored attire or give him like a really great paint job. The new Elite Orton was decent. The only thing that turns me off about the plastic shirt is that it's kind of bulky, if they can find a way to make it a bit smaller it might look cool. Also, if they have the bearded look ready, I wonder why it's not on the Elite Orton. Maybe they are all made already and ready to go. All those display pieces were really cool. I just wish they would mass produce and sell them.
Overall I think it was really good and I'm really looking forward to the interviews with the designers that we usually get.
