ARE YOU SERIOUS BRO?
Why is there no Yokozuna? I was seriously thinking this would be the moment of truth to see if Mattel can pull off a Yoko figure and we get a bunch of re-releases for basics, new rumblers and the GOBBLEY EFFIN GOOKER?? Where the hell is Yoko BRO?!

Kinda seems like Mattel doesn\'t want to do too many fat guys. Means new molds and such. I\'m sure we\'ll get Yoko in time, but he\'d require a new mold.

Why would you just randomly expect Yoko? There have been no rumors of him being signed. He's obviously passed away so they cant just call him up and say "Hey want a figure?" So they have to find out who owns his rights. He's not signed to a legends contract (or has been reported to one)....Thats like me saying "Damn, Where's my Waylon Mercy figure??"

lol, Well.. I expected it because they said they were working on a big man mold that would be displayed at Comicon.. dont tell me it was andre.. they had that proto for over a year.

Gobblygooker will sell.. especially as an internet exclusive. Gobblygooker is a wildly popular niche character, and has never had a single figure. Yoko has had a bunch, and several in the same scale as Mattel

This is one thing that really bugs me about Mattel. Instead of getting new figures with awesome attires like we got with Jakks and the CS line, we get repaint after repaint all with the same headscans. Although we see a new headscan once in a while, the fact that the same figures with them are being released so quickly sort of ruins it.
A Yokozuna is something that I've wanted for a long time. It better not be a Mattycollector exclusive.....

I think Stinger mentioned Yoko because in a Q&A someone had a list of legends. Yoko was on there along with Booker T and Diesel/Nash. The response was that two of them were in the works. A further response made it sound like Booker was clamoring for a figure that wasn't close as of yet so I assumed that Diesel and Yokozuna were the likeliest Legends.
Course I could be completely wrong, but that's what I thought when I read Stinger's topic.

Right on, Stinger. They waste plastic on Gobbledy Gooker, which goes against EVERYTHING they've implied about wrestlers like Hawkins, Barretta, divas, etc. yet they don't make Yoko? What you couldn't get the rights to the WCW Cat mascot?!?! Mattel makes great figures, but it's the distribution/selection/priority of said figures that I HIGHLY question.
Mattel, you mean to tell me an overproduced/high cost Gobbledy Gooker will outsell lower tier/lower cost guys? Fail.

I'm really hoping Yoko will be one of the Elite/Flashback guys down the line... they've only shown 2 of them remember, so who knows?
