Hi all
We all heard the news that Mattel has decided to incorporate Legends in Basic, Elite and Defining Moments. My concern with the Legends offering now is that basically we will be getting current superstars thrown into classic attires with the exception of the occasionally Legend such as Papa Shango etc... Legends will slowly dry up in retail making us consumers order online on Matty and pay postage to get legends that we wont be able to get in retail.
Now with this small online selection of legends which we can only purchase at Mattycollector how can international consumers purchase these Legends since Matty won't post internationally?
Is there any other concerns about the line from any fellow Wfigs members?

mattycollector does ship internationally..everyone can buy legends!
the only figs they cant ship internationally are ones with electronics(like lights and sounds)
so unless they start selling legends like the entrance greats(w/ sounds) you will be able to buy

Hi all We all heard the news that Mattel has decided to incorporate Legends in Basic, Elite and Defining Moments. My concern with the Legends offering now is that basically we will be getting current superstars thrown into classic attires with the exception of the occasionally Legend such as Papa Shango etc... There's no indication that the Flashback term translates to mean only current Superstars in their debut attires. My impression of the SDCC news was that the Flashback figures were going to be the more high profile and "strategic" Legends. So, while the MattyCollector Legends will feature more obscure or collector-oriented choices, the Flashback figures will probably include more mainstream choices, like Diesel, Bret Hart, Honky Tonk Man, Big Bossman, ect. A perk of no longer calling these figures Legends in that current Superstars can also get classic attires that have been highly requested, like Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Triple H, Chris Jericho, etc. Overall, this could be a sweet setup. I just hope we get more news about this from the upcoming Q&A so we can know for sure. Actually, I've read here that MattyCollector does ship internationally, and that their shipping rates are decent, so I think international collectors might have an easier time getting Legends now!

Matty ships internationally!
Do you ship to my country? We ship to all countries except those with trade sanctions in place with the United States. Matty.com

I Have a feeling were gonna end up with less 80's /early 90's stars .... maybe 1 out of the 2 .... i think were in for a lot of current retro flashbacks and attitude era guys .... Hopefully Mattel answers their plans for flashbacks in the q and a

Hopefully Mattel answers their plans for flashbacks in the q and a Plans for the Flashback series were released by Enrique at the panel. Watch the video. Flashbacks will consist of two figures. The first Flashback figure will be a high profile current superstar (Kane, Stone Cold, HHH, Mysterio, Undertaker, Shawn, etc.) in Flashback attire. The second Flashback figure will be a mid to high profile Legend. I am assuming character like Papa Shango, Big Boss Man, Yokozuna, Diesel (Kevin Nash), Booker T, Earthquake, etc. would be good examples. Also, the Legends on Mattycollector are going to be lower profile Legends which appeal to collectors only. Micro hit the spot with his explanation. ... Kinda figured thats how it was going to be..... Well Ill get Any Undertakers or HBKs but it would suck if we got say for example E13: Stone cold as the current , and Edge as the Legend.... For me , that would suck cuz then id have to wait 4 months for one legend i wanted if i was lucky enough to get someone in E14... Cuz i have enough SCSA's and i wouldnt want Edge, and if E14 was Triple H and Golddust then i would have to wait 6 months for hopefully one figure from the 80's / early 90's

I gotta think the Legends line sold a lot better than to get this kind of treatment where they release six figures on Matty and releasing them in the Elite line (I know DM counts too). I'm hoping they release good choices in Flashback. However there are so many times you can do HBK, Triple H, Taker, ect before we start getting Flashbacks of guys like Randy Orton.

My main concern would be including current superstars as Flashback such as John Cena, Orton, Miz, etc. I have no interest in the current roster and a move like that would be tough to swallow.
