What's the difference between Elite and Basic? Is it just the accessories and the stomach joint?
Are both basic and elite scaled in relation to each wrestler?
Are both basic and elite scaled the same in relation to each other? i.e. can you play with Elite and Basic or is it like RA V DA where it would be odd?

All Mattel figures are in scale, the differences between Elite and Basic figures are that Elite have more points of articulation where as Basic don't have as many. Elite also have more detail such as coloured tattoos and more detailed ring attire where as Basic can be described as...well Basic.

Basics sometimes have coloured tattoos too but they're pretty limited.

So do Basic's have the same articulation as RA ?
Do you feel the Elite's are worth the extra cash?
Does anyone collect and play with both mixed together?

The Mattel's also have articulation at the top of the boots. And the range of motion in the Mattel articulation is better than Jakks RA's range of motion. As for Jakks and Mattel's I display them seperately. Yes they are worth the money. I don't play with my figures but I display my Entrance Greats (Basic body) with the Legends & DM (Elite body)

Elite's are better product all the way around, but they cost alot more...depends on your budget as to what you should collect...i get both as atleast on display they all match and are correctly sized in proportion to eachother

I think you should buy a basic and elite of your favorite wrestler as a start. Then maybe play, pose, or put them on your shelf so can make a good decision. I like the ab crunch but others think basic torso look sleeker. Some people need the extra articulation while others don't care. Newer wrestlers usually get a basic figure before an elite. I like and collect both but everyone's taste is different.

The only articulation in elite I prefer over basics is the Leg/Hip articulation. I really dislike the ugly ab crunch of the elites and legends. if basics had that added articulation I really wouldn't see the need for Deluxe other than the extra decal detail and accessories.
