i know a lot of people here collect both wwf hasbro, wwf tonka buddies and wcw galoob, wcw toymax wrestling champs but what do you like most. if you had to choose to collect only 1 company what would it be.
i always knew more about hasbros and totally love them but latley i have been chasing the wcw products, i have the galoob collection but if i see a bargain i will buy it and use it for trade/sell when the prices hike again (they have been wild latley) same with the toymax buddies, at this moment i find myself willing to spend more money on the wcw products more than the wwf. but im sure that will change again soon and thats why i love collecting, ha ha

I was thinking about WCW magazine last night and comparing WWF magazine and figures to WCW, even video tapes WWF always had better promotion than WCW. The magazine would come out for a year or two for WCW then cease publication, then start up again and then stop while WWF has been continuous. Figures were the same way, WWF always had a figure company since 1984, WCW for two years in 1991 and 1992 and started back in 1994/1995. WCW did have video tapes but I only saw one or two in video stores. Maybe that's not WCW there though.
With WWF we always had a bigger quantity of lineups. Despite lack of articulation I like LJN the best. It's my favorite era of WWF. I guess most people like what they grew up with. The addition of posters was excellent as well and for the most part the figures produced were of wrestlers who were around for a while unlike Hasbro with wrestlers being gone by time they came out, though that isn't Hasbro's fault and they wouldn't have had enough time to replace them. For example, with Brutus Beefcake leaving they wouldn't have had time to replace him with a new arrival but rather a rerelease of Tatanka.
