I've been to three different TRU stores, and haven't seen the display everyone has been talking about. There were little cards for the Vince promo, but that was it. I'm wondering if it might have something to do with all of them being converted to TRU/Babies R Us stores.

My TRU had received the display, but never put it out. My TRU guy had said it was in the back, but not set up yet so he went in back and pulled the figures I had wanted (Orton X2, Macho Miz, Ryder) I ended up leaving the Macho in favor of an extra DM3 Trips. But the next time I was there there was still no display out, but everything that was in the display was on the pegs. with a few small index cards about the promotion set up.

The local TRU never received it. The "newest" figures we have on the shelves are Elite 6.

You should check back. One of the the TRU's in my area just put out the display about two weeks ago.

If you have not asked about the display, I would do so just to see what type of response they give you. I called a local Toys R Us on the Thursday before the official "sale" was supposed to start and they did not know what I was talking about. I went into the store on the Friday before and asked to speak to the manager. When I described the display, he told me it was in the back and ready to be put out. He said that I could go ahead and buy any figure that I wanted.
I got Elite Miz, Elite Ryder x2, Daniel Bryan, Skip Sheffield, Eve, Legends Martel and Legends Akeem. I went back on Sunday to see what was left on the display because I traded the Elite Miz and Basic Eve. The display was still in the back and the only figures missing were the one I bought earlier in the week. When I asked what was going on, they said the manager said to leave it in the back until the shelf stock was low. I got the extra figures I wanted from the back but it took them over two weeks to get the rest on the shelf.
Go figure. (Pun intended)

I think its just lazy that stores don't want to put the displays up... I know where I work our store manager doesn't like displays clogging up floor space or counter space so we tend to hold things back until the pegs or shelves are low
Sucks but like Jeff all you really need to do is ask and sometimes you get a cooperative worker to help you out

My tru was converting to a babies r us and they got the display. Then my other tru is just a tru no remodeling and they didn't get it...

The one closest to me never got it. I took an hour drive to the one south of me with my dad and that one got it, was able to pick up the set of L5 and send in for the Vinnie Mac Promo the day it started. The other one north of me never got it. I will be going up to it on Friday (It's about a 30 minute drive and they restock after close on Thursday night) so I am hoping to find something good. Maybe a case of Elite 9 or something.

Thankfully all my local TRU stores got the displays, but they're a real sad sight now. For whatever reason, some of the stores aren't even using them to stock any new items. So now they're just sitting there with barely anything in them.

I have 2 near me, and neither of them have gotten the display. None of them have even got Elite 9, or Elite 8. So, I still haven't gotten a Ryder, but I'm not giving up.
