This is the second Elite wave to be released with a dull belt in it. Their excuse with the WHC was there wasn't enough money in the budget to do the Tag belts (which they would probably only get to do this time) and the WHC just got the rubies painted.
Now Elite 11 Miz has the WWE Championship and its dull as hell too, no excuse no reason. I for one want to know why this belt is dull and it better not be the damn budget cause lets face it if thats the case then there will be more plastic shirts like Rey got and more crap belts. Mattel is hurting their product doing this and it will make me think twice about buying a second Miz if he is just a cheap repaint with an even cheaper belt.
The dull belt was supposed to be for basics cause the vac finish is too expensive to work into the budget for basics. Yet the Elite figures are supposed to have the budget to allow all belts to be painted nice and pretty and figures come with the shirt. The entire reason for the Elite line I thought was to MAKE THE MOST ACCURATE FIGURE, which means the tights, scult, scale, and accessories would be accurate for what that wrestler has worn, carried, or looked like.
So I want answers I'm not sure about the rest of you guys but if I'm gonna continue shelling out $16 for an Elite I want my damn money worth.

I thought that they were just releasing the first of each belt shiny and then the next ones dull and see what people like and give us the option of shiny or dull but I might be wrong. I also thought I heard the first ones were shiny only because they were the first of each belt but from here on out they will be all dull, I'm not sure.

I agree, but, if they are low on money, we should just deal with it....

Amen, brotha! We're paying a PREMIUM for these figures, hell, even $18 at RETAIL and $20-30+ from RSC for these TOYS. They should be top notch ALL THE TIME. There's no excuse for half-assing accessories, especially when Mattel STOPPED giving us the stands and nametags. That's bull5hit Mattel, and you know it. If your "budget" is so damn bad, then stop making 5hitty plastic shirts like Rey's and Orton's. We'd rather had one GOOD accessory than two crap ones. Wake the up Mattel! And I'm a huge supporter of you, too!

I have to agree here. What is the excuse for the cheap belts in the Elite line?? Miz is a straight repaint and doesn't even come with an elite belt?? Why mattel?? What's the deal? I have E10 Kane, and the belt is, ehhhhhhhh, just not right. Not what I have come to expect from mattel. Now what?? Go to eBay and buy the belt that comes with sheamus for $15? LoL LoL

it isn't that big of a deal. if you dont like it than too bad. Don't buy it. I'd like to see you run a toy company and find it in your budget to make shiny belts.

The real inexcusable thing from Elite 11 is the RUBBER SHIRT that comes with Rey Mysterio! A RUBBER SHIRT! That is completely unacceptable for a figure that sells for $15+ at retail and even more on the internet.
The farther we get into the line, the higher the prices rise and the more the details are taken away, the more it becomes apparent that Mattel was not financially prepared to take on making WWE figures.
Yeah, everything started out AWESOME and there is no denying what a fabulous job was done in the first year.....which makes it even more obvious and disappointing when they start to take those awesome things away from us.
First they took the stands and the name tags away, now we are getting dull belts, and now some of the cloth shirts are gone and we're getting RUBBER SHIRTS....yet the prices keep on rising while the quality keeps on DROPPING!

Most of E11 was repaints and they could even give proper belts. Nothing for the ESR and now more dull belts for elites.

Wat annoys me more is ppl who defend Mattel. Oh they had to cut costs...deal with it. That's bs we have no idea what it costs to make em but I'm sure as hell they are making a profit. I get so mad when I c interviews with mattel representatives n they are talking about cutting costs.
Every1 like to sh*t on jakks but atleast they gave some kind of belt and other accessory with a good amt of their CS figs and something else.
Less legends, no stands and nametags, plastic shirts, now dull belts? I love what Mattel has done but lately my interest has really declined.

I love what Mattel has done but lately my interest has really declined. if you don't like it then don't buy them. it is that simple. Less legends isn't Mattel's fault. The legends line wasn't making them enough money to last and at least they are still gonna make legends. No stands and nametags isn't that big of a deal. You can print nametags and use lots of things as stands and to make stands. There have only been two plastic shirts so far in two series' of 12 all together. Pretty good ratio.

Quit your crying. I swear no matter what they do you people will never be happy. Responses like this are reasons why they give us items with less quality. Cuz some ppl don't care and are happy with crap and then when they get really bad they jump on the wagon and complain just as much. Sound like jakks all over again? If consumers don't care why should mattel. This is why its good to voice your opinion.

I agree that Mattel is taking things away little by little. I just wish they'd give out the information and not have us surprised when we already bought the figure without realizing what we're buying. We come to expect a certain level of quality when purchasing Basics, Elites, Legends, and Defining Moments. Elite 10 Kane's promo image was clearly displaying a shiny belt. img9.imageshack.us/img9/4880/elite10kane.jpgSo what are we getting when we order Defining Moments Bret Hart? The same dull belt from Legends 6 Ultimate Warrior? How about Legends Andre the Giant's belt?

I think its more than fair to question their actions right now. Little by little they are taking things away and it points to us losing more as time goes. Maybe they can clarify things for us.

If Mattel wants to pull this crap, whatever. I can't stop them and I won't stop collecting all-together, but it will turn me off certain figures. (Miz and Orton being the instances of such) I want them to sell the stands on the site, badly.
My main concern is if they switch to that rubber bullcrap. If they do, Ralph's will be getting a good hunk of change each time I get a haul in.

The difference between basic and elite is getting thinner; with articulation being the only focus.
Elite should be getting better accessories and attires. Elite doesnt even have as wide of a selection.
The upcoming two packs have basics getting some new accessories. I don't mind basics getting them, but elites should get them first.
