That's ing terrible. I've always loved watching the show, but that's the worst ing move he could have made.

This seems stupid, in that Rose was always the crazy annoying type of stalker, not the crazy, gonna-kill-you type.

Seems idiotic. I agree with the article in that Lorre only seems to be more interested in taking pot-shots at Sheen, rather than ensuring his sitcom survives. In all honesty, I think Lorre would have made a far greater point by ignoring Sheen after his departure. Sweep him under the rug and don't give him this big on-screen " you". Lorre thinks he's the bigger man but he isn't.

I haven't watched this show in quite some time. It was never my favorite, but the first few seasons were enjoyable. Then it got monotonous. I will probably watch the season premiere though, just because James Earl Jones is doing the eulogy

It's not like they're gonna show anything. Doubtful they even talk about it, outside of the funeral in the season premiere. It's not like, 2 seasons from now, Jake's gonna be all "Hey remember how Uncle Charlie got smashed by a train?" and then they'll all reflect. This will probably be a one episode thing, and then the show will go on as usual. Charlie Sheen brought his firing on himself because he was told not to do things, and he did them anyway. Specifically, speak bad about the producers and creators and CBS in general. In fact, he even said "I'm doing this now to see if they'll actually do anything like they said they would." So he brought that on himself, and I doubt he gets another show that gets to the level that Men got to, and will get to, with a new audience of Kutcher fans.

Reminds me of how South Park killed off Chef because Isaac Hayes didn't like the way they portrayed scientology.

@jm Punk - It doesnt matter how much of a dik Charlie Sheen was; I think this is a douche bag thing to do. What a shame too, because as soon as more people find out what Lorre is doing, more people with side with Charlie no matter how crazy he is. Thus mean a ratings drop not only for that show, but for the shows after that. Its sad too because; I am interested in how Kutcher is going to do.

I hate Charlie Sheen and so therefore I think this is a quality way to kill off the character.

Oh wait.....
Never mind.
I hate that show so much.

They could have at least had him die in a comedic way...like Rose walking in on him cheating, and him having a heart attack while still "in the act". They could work in various "stiff" jokes, like you know they would, and it would fit into the tone of the show. But this...this is just too much for a sitcom.
