I've been collecting WWE Mattel figs since Day 1, but I only collect the elite format. Any and all figures with elite articulation, I have them all. I enjoy playing with them in my Elite Scale Ring, but it becomes a hassle every time I want to play with some, I have to remove the clothing and put them back on. Also, they have been accumulating dust on the clothes, and with all these stories of discoloration due to clothing stains, I decided today to just display them all in their in-ring attire, with all the accessories taken off and put to the side. However, now my collection looks less complete and more dull...I don't know what to do! I know it's a preference-based thing, but what would you guys do? I enjoy the idea of pick-up-and-play without having to worry about accessories, but at the same time I kinda miss looking at all the intricate details Mattel spent so much time on for us to enjoy...

It is a bit of a pain, but I think they look better with their accessories with them. Gives it a more authentic look.

I display mine without accessories so I can take them anytime and animate whenever I want. Some figs have their clothes on though because I don't use them that often for animating.

Elite, I just find them to be more appealing, especially since they are the style of the legends/DM figures. Don't get me wrong, I'll get the odd Basic (EG Y2J, EG HHH, EG Piper mainly for the shirt and bagpipe for the legends Piper lol,EG HBK, A Basic Rey for my rey collection and i still have to get the Rey boxed set on clearance, Steamboat/Jericho 2 pack, and Daniel Bryan as he is currently only available as a basic. I also own Natalya, but I view her as an elite)

The only figures I still display with their accessories are the Legends & DM. With the Elites it's wrestler specific items like HHH's water bottle & Sledge, Sheamus's cross & pipe, entrance jackets, glasses, titles. But other than the E7 HHH none of my Elites have their shirts on them in my display.

I don't want my figures to get stained, so I take off all their shirts and keep them in a large Ziploc bag. I've been lucky with all the figures that are notorious for staining, like Steamboat, Christian, Volkoff, and Ryder. I also have another bag to keep all the accessories in because otherwise, all the tiny things would start disappearing. I only keep the belts out on the shelf because they look too cool to put away.
I've been taking a lot of pics for my picture fed, so my arena display table is littered with all the accessories that I'm currently using for the show. Once I'm done, though, I'll put everything back in storage and place my figures back on my display bookcase.
