I plan to go to Survivior Series at MSG this year. I've never been to the Garden and it's been years since I've been to a WWE PPV but with The Rock being there I plan on going. I'm just curious for those of you who have been there before, how much do tickets usually run for? What is the usual price of the cheapest and most expensive seats?

I've been wondering the exact same thing, as I'm thinking of going too.

It's going to be a sh't load more money this time around I think. MSG is currently doing a HUGE renovation and worst seats will probably be like 50 - 60 ....Best seats...Maybe 400?

I was actually thinking 50-60 for the worst seats which I can spare I'm sure just to be there. From what I heard every seat in MSG is a good seat. I've never been there before to confirm that but I'm sure someone else here who has been to MSG before can.

I'm not too sure on the prices. It depends on the show and where you are buying from. If you are buying from ticketmaster the prices may be more reasonable since they are in specific increments. If you are buying from stubhub you are going to have to shell out some good money. I plan on going too. My cousin said his dad could probably get free tickets through his job like he did for an MSG show last year. He got like 10 free tickets and in a great spot too. If he can't I will be buying tickets.

as long as you dont get stuck behind production seats, yes every seat is a good seat at the garden. There is no place like the Garden! Now for most WWE events, with the exception of Raw or Smackdown, the set is minimal with usually just an entrance way and small screens around it or part of it. Check out Survivor Series that debuted the elimination chamber or the Royal Rumble from a few years back that Cena was the surprise 30th man and won. The set is minor and the crowds are ALWAYS hot and ruthless. If you have never been there for a WWE event and have the chance, GO!!!! Im planning on going too.

I don't know if these are going to be the prices but here is a comparable so you an idea.
I went to the MSG house show back in March of this year and for the 300 section it was $34.50 before fees.
For the 2008 Royal Rumble PPV I also sat in the 300 section and it was $54.50 before fees.
I know it's not much but I hope it helps a little.

Don't listen to anyone here, no one knows what MSG will be like, since they're renovating the entire building, so nobody knows yet whether or not there will be bad seats. I was there for Royal Rumble 2008 and had decent seats that I paid $80 for, but I've heard tickets are going to be more expensive this year to cover costs of renovation.

Yeah, there's no telling what the prices will be for the Survivor Series. Seats should still be close to the same in terms of views since only the lower bowl of the arena was renovated. But, for sure, the prices will go up. I would assume the cheapest seats will go for around $80 and the platinum ringside seats will go for around $500. As for what beefpuppet mentioned about the small entrance sets, those days are now long gone since the players' tunnel was removed during the renovation to make way for a luxury lounge. Expect regular full-sized entrance sets from here on out for any future PPV at the Garden.

I went to Rumble 08, 11 rows from the ring.... 100 bucks. I'm hoping prices will be similar for Survivor Series this year, but who knows?

The reason WWE don't do big sets there is b/c it takes away seats. I don't know how big MSG is compared to other arenas but WWE knows 2 things when it comes to the garden. It will sell out and people will pay, so they maximize it as much as then can.

Unless they run the prices higher for MSG, which they have been known to do on occasions, the tickets prices are usually something like $300, $90, $70, $50 and below before service fees for Pay-Per-Views.
I've only been to Madison Square Garden once, and it was for Wrestlemania, so I don't have any other point of reference. I sat in the 200 level, centered with the ring and the face value of my tickets were $202.
