As much as I love all three Von Erich figures I felt there was something off with Kevin and today I finally figured it out. His head sat too low on the body...Kevin has a long neck. So here's a quick fix until I can figure out how to make it permanent - Before & After Comparison -  With longer neck -   |

Whats funny is I think the Kevin figure looks a lot like Lance.

I just popped it off and didn't push it all the way back down. It's only halfway over the stem now. That's why I said I have to find a way to make it permanent. I'm going to see if I can find a figure DCUC/WWE with a longer stem.

i Pre ordered the Warrior and he came in May. that was the first pre order batch that came in im certain. Unless you guys workin for RSC or somethin and gettin pre pre pre orders then i appologize for my mistake but yeah i remember wanting a tornado but he was sold out at the time so i pre ordered Warrior and it came in May. the rest were all on back order then and still were til just this month

I preorder it the day they listed them. I just looked back at thread I posted at POA when I originally posted pics of them I was mistaken they arrived on my sister's birthday which was May 17th. For some reason I thought the arrived around my birthday. Maybe they listed them for preorder in March? Because I know I preorder Series 6 before long before I preordered Series 5 as the Von Erichs were way more important to me to order over all of Series 5. (I preordered Series 5 on April 12 and received them on April 13) So at least that's better now as it means it only to me 2 1/2 months to figure it out instead of 4 1/2. ;D Anyway I corrected the title and in any case I figured out what was bugging me about his figure. www.pointsofarticulation.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6682 |

hahaha yeah i was just baffled as too how you guys got them so so early is all. Cause i only started collecting in March and well my first pre order this year was Elite 8 Sheamus, Drew, MVP, and Edge at the time and i remember the legends that were just hitting then were The Model and Bam Bam and them cause i really wanted the Model then and Bam Bam (which i still dont have Bam Bam yet lol) but yeah i remember after E8 came, L6 went up for pre order and i really wanted that Tornado and Warrior and Eddie. Still only have 1 from that whole series haha hopin too scoop up a Tornado next week finally. HELLS YEAH!!

I had ordered the set plus an extra Tornado the day they originally listed them. I went with the extra Tornado as I liked his figure best from the protos. But once they arrived I wanted to order 2 more WCCW Kerry, 1 more Kevin and another Tornado, but I waited too long to order them & the WCCW Kerry is now gone which sucks as he became my favorite in the set as soon as I opened the case. But I did order the other Kevin & Tornado yesterday from RSC.
With the extras I wanted to get I wanted another WCCW Kerry to keep as is. Then I wanted to swap the other WCCW figure's lower legs with the extra Tornado's lower legs to make the NWA Kerry from "The David Von Erich Memorial" like Bandy did with his. And with the other Kevin I wanted to put him in either yellow or white trunks.

it looks much better now but those ankles mattel made are too fat. but still i cant wait till a new snuka gets made with barefeet

I'd suggest you take some hot glue (glue gun) and put a bit into the hole in the head. Then on the peg you just put some Vaseline or liquid hand soap (anything to keep the peg slick so the glue wont stick to it) and pop the head on into the position you want. Work the head around a little so it retains the full range of articulation once the glue dries and there you go, a longer necked Kevin Von Erich.
