I am considering selling my collection. Just losing interest I guess.
I have every Elite, every Legend, every EG, every DM, every exclusive.
Pretty much all the Rumblers.
They are all loose.
About 75% of the Basics released.
Every Jericho.
Every HBK.
Every CM Punk.
Every Cody Rhodes.
Every Christian.
Every Kofi.
Every Miz.
Every Rey Mysterio.
I have an unopened Elite Scale Ring.
Over 200 stands.
Roughly, how much do you think I could get it for it all?
(this is just a thought, it will pretty hard for me to pull the trigger on selling them, I am just wondering)

Wow dude.....I couldn't even give an estimate for all that. That's an absolute sh*t-ton of figures.
Just curious, why you would sell it.

I collect loose, and there's Elite 10 figures I pre-ordered (which means I have had them for a long time) and haven't even cared to open yet. This just gives me the impression that I don't really care about them much. lol. Keep in mind, I am just considering it...

I'll gladly take the set of Elite 10 (minus Morrison) off your hands for what you paid in all seriousness, I've seen lots of like 30 Mattels go for hundreds on Ebay. I mean if you really wanted to sell everything you could at LEAST get back what you paid. As a whole, it would depend on the exact number of figures you have....if you had say 400 figures I bet there is someone out there that would pay something like $3000 for everything at once. I'm assuming of course that all your stuff is mint. That'd be $7.50 per figure...is a really good deal. The ESR is tough because Amazon has it for less than $60...so I wouldn't expect you to get more than that for now.

When you ship to Germany, I would take the Elite Scale Ring and some figures

I'll admit collecting has been slow, hell even the boards are slow. I'm selling and have sold a bunch of my figs and it's not easy. The most annoying part is the low ballers on this site. Some1 offered me $9 shipped for my SDCC Taker. ARE U SERIOUS BRO!!!
My advice to you if u do decide to sell is keep the ones you like and unload the expendables. Maybe only collect elites or just basics. Either way it's ur choice man.

Yeah, everything is mint. Never played with any of them.
Just so everybody knows, I am not offering to sell them right now, just trying to get an idea of what I might be able to get.

I think if you were wanting to rid yourself of some, you should sell some of the ones that you have multiples of.
...
And if you have any elites that you want to sell, PM me ;-)

I agree with a lot of the above comments. Sell any "extras" you have or anybody you can spare and keep you're favorites. It would be different if Mattel had stopped making figures or something. I would hate to see you sell off your entire collection and then have Mattel release some really great figures you want down the line and then regret selling everything off.

That's what I'm worried about. lol. Put a lot of time and money into these. Why I still have huge bins of TTL figures (to say nothing of boxes of RA, R3, Deluxe, etc). Just not sure where to begin divesting myself of them. The plus for you is that your collection will never be worth as much as it is right now, and that's actually a pretty decent amount. The thing that dissuades me the most is that my early stuff is worth next to nothing. I'm at the point where I'd probably part with about 90% of my TTL collection to someone who'd just take them, but I'm not sure I'd even find that. You can definitely get a lot back. Probably not what you paid for them collectively, but you can claw back some of your investment. If I were you and feeling this way now, I think I'd suggest selling off parts of the collection. Like, maybe sell off the Basics or the Rumblers. Since you have all Elites, sticking to just them can still give you a strong sense of pride in your collection and may focus your collecting moving forward allowing you to get more interest in it.

When I sold mine I realized that I still wanted to collect. I guess the saying is true. "You don't know what you have until you lose it." I regret selling all my Mattels, because in the end I still collected.

I wouldn't man. You'll never get what you paid for them. That's how I look at it. With hundreds of figures at home and being 27 with a 2 year old I still plan to collect them well into him getting older. It took a lot of money and hard work to find all the figures and I know if i did sell them i'd be mad at myself for a long time. So dude if I were you i'd maybe stop buying but don't get rid of them man. For me when I walk into my room with my figs it makes me feel good. I always skim through to make sure nothings missing or nothings fell on the ground.
Do the same keep them and admire them. If you don't feel like collecting anymore then that's cool but I just feel anyone whos put that much money and time into something should never get rid of them.

I thought about quitting at one time myself. The best thing to do is sit down and figure out what "line" you like the most. Then sell off items that dont pertain to that line. You'll find a few extra bucks in your pocket but also get to continue a hobby that in reality, you're probably not tired of. After having thousands and thousands of figures and a basement FILLED with boxes of figures...Im not down to a bookcase of Legends from Mattel and a box of Classic Superstars from Jakks and couldnt be happier.
