Not sure if anyone remembers, but I recall back when Elite 2 came out, DiBiase had upper thigh molds where they were molded for I believe tights, but they were painted skin toned. Well, I just looked at my E11 Barrett, and he has the same problem.
Anyone else's like this?

I had it with Series 2 DiBiase, but it was corrected with the Series 10 DiBiase. I don't have the Barrett. But I did hate it with DiBiase

Yes my Barrett has it too. I didn't even notice until I just now looked for it, now it bugs me.

My Barrett has it too. It's not that noticeable unless you look closely though.

It doesn't really come out too clear in pics. At least it didn't back when I posted pics about the Series 2 DiBiase, but Look at Edge's upper thigh/hip piece and you'll see the tight's wrinkles molded into the part. Well they use that part molded in flesh (Sort of like Jakks R3 Flair)

and the cost cutting begins.... I don't think it's a cutting cost, because they did it with Elite 2 DiBiase also. I just think someone picked the wrong part choice. Watch like with the Elite 10 DiBiase the next Barrett will have the correct part.

Better QC or bust.

Hmm, you're right, I didn't notice it before but mine has it as well! Here's a close-up pic... and the cost cutting begins.... That makes no sense at all. A Randy Orton figure with blank arms would be a better example of cost cutting but this is a simple case of an incorrect part being used. It's not like the smooth hip joint is more expensive than the textured one. If anything, this is a QC matter, like others mentioned.

Thanks for the Pic, Micro.
That is exactly how mine looks too. It doesn't bother me to much, just wanted to see if anyone else had the same issue.

Did anyone ever ask Mattel? I guess it could be something simple like giving the factory the wrong info. You would think QC would catch it before going through a whole run of figures.
Or maybe it's completely accurate. Does Wade have wrinkly upper thighs in real life?
