So I got this Laptop this year and it has a virus on it. When I turn it on it will go to the desktop and then this blue screen comes up with all these letters and numbers on it. I cant do anything on this laptop. Its a HP and has Windows 7 on it. So my question is what can I buy to get this virus off my computer? And no I was not looking at porn I was trying to watch a movie online. Here is a video of what happens when I turn it on.
Thanks! Edit even in safe mode it still does this

I've had the same problem before, had to take it into someone to get them to fix it.

You could system restore. If you remember the last time it was OK, just look for that time/day and then set it back to that time/date.

That's not a virus. It's a corrupted OS. Just re-install everything from scratch. You can re-install Windows 7 in about 20-30 mins.

yeah reinstalling the os from the boot disk is the easiest way to blowout any corruptions. after that you should run a hard drive test and system test then once you have everythnig back to normal and have confirmed that no damage was doen to the hard drive you can load up aany backed up files you may have had and get a decent anti virus and spyware

Just thought I'd pass on this bit on info;
I was getting the blue screen of death like 3 or 4 times a day on my computer for a couple of months and tried re-installing my OS to fix it but it didn't work. I was asking people what could be the issue and found out it was actually due to overheating. I've got the side panel of my computer off with a fan on full blast blowing into it and I haven't had the blue screen once since, lol.

That's not a virus. It's a corrupted OS. Just re-install everything from scratch. You can re-install Windows 7 in about 20-30 mins. This. You'll have to wipe your HDD, or at least, I had to when I had 4 HDD's crash on me in my old Acer laptop.
