Hey everyone I'm new to the forum but I wanted to get your thoughts about a couple figures. I'm trying to decide between either a Defining Moments Ricky Steamboat or the Elite 7 DH Smith. I have the Elite Tyson Kidd but I think it's lame to not have his tag team partner, but I was a big Steamboat fan as a kid and think his fig is cool too. Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

DH Smith is no longer employed while Tyson Kidd is. Get Steamboat.

Well, Elite Smiths won't be around forever simply because he is no longer with the WWE. Honestly, I think you'll have an easier time down the road picking up an extra Defining Moments Steamboat than a DH Smith Elite.

DM Steamboat > Elite DH Smith

from a purely entertainment wrestling stand-point you can't argue about Steamboat's legacy - he's a must.
But in all likelihood you'll probably never see DH Smith back in the WWE, so that could be his very last action figure for a long time.

DH Smith's fig will just be a let down if ya get him.. E7 Tyson and Kidd both sucked. I mean there attires were done to perfection but there headscans and stuff suck imo. You will get them and have them sittin around forever, never standing out too you.. you would be better off grabbin up a DM Steamboat

Smith's a decent figure but if it comes down to a choice... Steamboat, easily. One of the most elaborate, colourful, detailed wrestling figures ever.
But yeah, Steamboat will probably be easier to get hold of in the future, so maybe Smith's the best option to get right now, and then get Steamboat in a couple months or whatever.

even though i prefer the ricky steamboat dm, go for smith because defining moments figures sit on the shelf for a long time.

Thanks for the help everyone. I went with Smith for two reasons, he's no longer with the company so we'll probably won't see a new figure for years if ever, and two I already have the legends Steamboat. Thanks for the help again.
