Was Crush a EG Taker head? I think I like the 1st & last Muraco figures the best of the 3, Not liking the Austin body. The Barbarian looks good once the entrance attire is on. Also I think Brawler looks better that Lombardi...It hides the large head better.

I like the Slaughter with the coat the best. Your Austin in blue and white almost looked like the Blue Blazer at first glance.

Again some very impressive Fix-Ups...loving the creativity. Did you do a full body repaint on Barbarian? Awesome

Crush is a mr perfect head painted.
I only did the other muraco fix ups so you could see the other options pj , I went with the light blue mr perfect trunks version which is an austin body with kozlov arms. Works pretty well except I wish he had bigger thighs but its ok
I display barbarian w full ent attire, I agree about him and brawler. Also bam bam is one of my fav legend figures.
I finally got acetone and worked out my kinks , love that stuff ! Thanks for the comments guys, I got razor and hbk on the way

Not too shabby! my top favorites are The Brooklyn Brawler, Ric Flair, and Slaughter.. Crush Looks like a Mr Perfect Painted up on a Demolition body lol but it works for now.. pretty decent.. I been really meaning to head on over too Ralph's Custom Figure Clothing and order up that Mattel Sgt Slaughter iconic camo attire and grab the Mattel Slaughter figure and make him the way Mattel should have made him from the start.. i would do just like you did too prob try finding that Slaughter Jakks exclusive real cheap even and give him the jacket to.. what elbow pads did you use for him though? those red ones what are they from??

Well you could use Kozlovs , but i used nikolai volkoffs knee pads... worked well.... I display slaughter w.o the jacket, ralph did a great job with this slaughter outfit and if anyone is having a hard time cracking torsos, its Really Easy with my method Heat up a coffee cup of water 3 minutes in the microwave, bring the cup to your work station and soak the figure in the hot cup of water. the water must be HOT! so if 3 minutes doesnt do it then go longer. pop the head and put a flathead screwdriver behind the shoulder socket, with a crack on each side it should pop the torso in 2 quickly and cleanly, if you find its not going easily then re-heat the water 3 minutes (not w the figure in it ) then re-soak the fig.... use hellsinkraisers methods for the rest of the body , But with one difference, keep reheating the body in hot water before you crack or cut any other part, it makes things more pliable . reheat and cut the 3 pegs on the lower torso, reheat and cut the trunks , 4 spots, sides, between legs and middle under ab peg everything else is heat and pop, also, with the "hot water soak then crack" method, the pegs in the upper torso all stay in their factory shape, so when putting the upper torso back together, dont glue the pegs or you'll find it hard to close the torso properly. instead put the upper torso back together dry, then open it a crack with a screwdriver, glue the seams and close happy customizing

I hope your method of cracking torsos does make it as easy as it sounds and has a lower probability of messing up the torso. It would really open up a lot of customizing ideas for me. Thanks for sharing. The fix-ups look great!
EDIT: Wait, 3 minutes? I've heated water in a microwave for a minute before and it gets pretty hot. So at 3 minutes, should it be steaming?

Thanks for sharing. The fix-ups look great! EDIT: Wait, 3 minutes? I've heated water in a microwave for a minute before and it gets pretty hot. So at 3 minutes, should it be steaming? Well Heat would differ on Microwaves but yes you want it very hot, if i open the microwave door right as 3 minutes buzzes i can see the bubbles start fading out from the water boiling in the microwave The thing is , you dont wanna soak the figure in actual boiling water as the steam will loosen the limbs , seriously it can be bad. So heat up a cup of water, then bring that cup to wherever your working and soak the figure for about 3 minutes . if you have a problem getting the torso to crack then re-heat the water without the figure in the cup, the re-soak the figure again 3 minutes, Gentle cracks, a little bit of pressure and it should pop apart and look as clean as it was the day mattel put it together. The lower ab and trunks definetly need to be cut, cut the pegs inside, but also heating the figure again in the same method will make it easier to slice, Dig the blade in and rock the figure back and forth against the blade, that way you can apply more pressure and if you slip its the figure thats slipping, not the knife better this way so you dont slice a finger off Seriously this Method is Amazing, i can take apart 5 Mattel elites in an hour and have them all clean and able to go back together clean.
