Hey guys and gals, A few clarifications: I did not intend to say that a mass retail Vince figure was imminent. We wouldnt do that to you. Some day another Mr McMahon will be made though.(when it makes sense to do it.)
As far as the Q+A itself goes, we will keep doing it as long as the questions keep being asked. We may sometimes give lame answers or no answers, but we will always give the best answers we can to reasonable questions.
We also have to save some info for our marketing and PR friends to share when they feel the time is right.
So, to the people who like these Q+As thanks and to the more critical people that don't feel we are doing enough,,, Thanks to you too, we listen to everyone, respond as best we can and appreciate all of our collectors as a very important part of our business. Bill

Funny how they admitted Eve was an embarassment and later defended the parts choices, when it was imo one of the worst parts of the figure. I know Eve and Beth aren't the same size, but I am still convinced the larger torso would have been a better choice.

My favorites were splat the cat and skid the kid!! It was a great line to work on, It was my first toy line. I got a bunch of MOC figs in the garage lol totally remember those names. Skid the kid is brilliant. ;D for the kids that don't know what we're talking about Now that I think about it, Kevin Nash or Sycho Sid crash dummies would be pretty sweet.

I know Eve and Beth aren't the same size, but I am still convinced the larger torso would have been a better choice. actually it was Eves head scan that we were not happy with, we still think we picked the right body. (and so does she by the way). Also, we do not feel obligated to defend anything we do. I have instructed my team to not feel the need to defend our choices. We have made them, it's too late to do anything about them once you see them and the conversations are basically pointless other than for reference for future releases. so, if the feedback is constructive we will discuss it. If we perceive the post as just bitching we will not in most cases respond. Thanks for your input.

Keep in mind that 'they' also think the super ripped HHH torso is still appropriate for him.

I'm going to just say it: I would die happily if Mattel made a 97 survivor series Shawn Michaels with entrance gear. It's the figure I have been dreaming about this I saw the event in 97... I have the Jakks version and it sucks so bad.
I understand that it's my individual want, and not reflective of the masses, but honestly, I would probably cry tears of joy if they made it, haha!
Thanks for the awesome figures you've made so far, though. I still can't believe how incredible the Legends Eddie is. Probably my top figure in my collection.

I imagine the Divas are the hardest to get right, but Mickie, Natalya and Beth have been pretty spot on. Eve is probably my favorite (read: hottest) next to Layla so the head sculpt was a bit of a letdown. On those instances, especially for a Diva, would it be possible to revisit in the future with a another go at the sculpt?
And just want to reiterate, you guys are doing great with the line and these Q&As. Please keep them up! I'm sure I'll find a few more Legends questions to keep you all busy! ;-)

Actually, I'd say they do need it, seeing as theirs looks like crap in comparison - or at least get the colouring right. I asked why they got the colour wrong, but needless to say they didn't answer.

There is a difference between having the correct artwork and being able interpret that artwork within very tight costing parameters. You seem to understand these things so you must realize that if punk has 2 or 3 shades of red in his tattoos and we are tight on cost we have to decide whether to spend the extra cash there or consolidate the colors into 1 . These are the hard facts of manufacturing TOYS. Sorry if these tats are not up to your standards, If I was you I'd just strip our art off and replace it with yours. Now that is why answer but for some reason I'm thinking it won't be good enough.

I am the one who drew the chest tattoo, but I am NOT the one who wrote all the negative comments. I love Mattel products. I simply asked in the Q and A if you guys wanted the artwork I did because it was already finished and colored in. I never meant any offense originally when I posted that.

Now that is why answer but for some reason I'm thinking it won't be good enough. Well, thanks for the explanation. So basically, you're saying cost dictates that you have to use the wrong colour? My gripe is that the colouring is completely incorrect. The actual colour is yellow, but on the fig it's bright orange - that is what I don't understand. It looks like his chest is on fire. As for me "stripping off the artwork and replacing it with mine", I don't have the artwork and I don't customise my figures -and the fact is I shouldn't have to. I'm not trying to cause any offence and don't get me wrong I appreciate all the work you do... but on the flipside I am spending a lot of money on these things, and I feel I have a right to say, if I feel something is not up to scratch - and for me personally, after such a long wait, that chest tattoo on the E11 Punk was somewhat disappointing, that's all. That being said, if it was anybody other than Punk, it probably wouldn't have bothered me so much .

Holy ing poop. I love DDP so much for that. I WANT TO BUY ONE NOW. While not my first choice, I'm satisfied with the attire choice... but I really wanted a heel or serious/straight-faced headscan for DDP. Obviously they said it will be smiling though. So even if the likeness is decent, I can't see myself buying it. All we got from Jakks was smiling DDPs, and it seems Mattel aren't gonna break that pattern. Am I the only one who remember's Page's heel push in 1995-1996? and his heel days in late-WCW too for that matter. and as I've said loads of times, even when he was a face, he never smiled that much (other than in promo photos). he usually looked pretty serious and intense. I guess a serious/heel DDP will just have to stay put at the top of my Legends wishlist.
