Holy ing poop. I love DDP so much for that. I WANT TO BUY ONE NOW. While not my first choice, I'm satisfied with the attire choice... but I really wanted a heel or serious/straight-faced headscan for DDP. Obviously they said it will be smiling though. So even if the likeness is decent, I can't see myself buying it. All we got from Jakks was smiling DDPs, and it seems Mattel aren't gonna break that pattern. Am I the only one who remember's Page's heel push in 1995-1996? and his heel days in late-WCW too for that matter. and as I've said loads of times, even when he was a face, he never smiled that much (other than in promo photos). he usually looked pretty serious and intense. I guess a serious/heel DDP will just have to stay put at the top of my Legends wishlist. Either way is suitable to me. A smile certainly seems more definitive and representative of the guy, and if there is only going to be one Mattel DDP released, I guess that's what I would pick. My two big wants, as I said many times here, was long hair and that star tattoo. I felt confident the first would be met, wasn't so sure on the second. So I am over the moon at that. And the fact that it was at the request of Page himself just puts it over.

Not sure if asked before but are you able to use 'Alumni wrestlers' this is a topic of mattel's answers, it's not for asking questions. i'm sure a new question topic will be posted soon. also i can answer your question. if a superstar has signed a WWE legends contract (i.e. with WWE themselves for all kinds of merchandise) then yes, mattel can make figures of them. mattel can also make a figure of someone if that superstar signs a deal with mattel directly (separate from WWE). but just because a superstar is featured on the WWE.com alumni page does not mean they are signed to a WWE legends contract. hope that makes sense
