Just wondering if anyone has returned items to WalMart without the receipt...?
I have some stuff still in the box that I will never use and it's taking up space. I want to return it, but I don't want to like look like a jacka$$ trying to return it. lol.

Just try, I've had good and bad luck with returning without receipts. Depends on the worker and whether they still have that item in the store.

Cool, thanks guys. I will give it a shot tomorrow. I have 2 WalMarts within 4 miles of my house... so I figure if it won't work at 1 store, I'll take it to the next one. lol.

Yes but they don't give you cash back. They give you a gift card back. There is also a limit to how many items you can return without a receipt.

Hope you have better luck than I did the last time I tried to return something there. I got some things there once, stuff for my friend down south, for his birthday 6 months ago, and one thing was a copy of Medal Of Honor for the PS3. He already had it. So I sent the other things I got; a controller and keypad for the PS3 controller, and I kept the Medal Of Honor and tried to take it back, even for store credit, and they said that they absolutely needed the receipt, company policy prohibited a return without a receipt. And the guy that rang me up the night before was standing right there, and recognized me as well. Yet still, nothing. Was not allowed to return it. So I took cracked the game open and traded it to GameStop during their 50% extra sale and got more than I paid for the game in store credit over at GameStop. Screw Walmart and their return policy, and their price matching policy, while you're at it.

But if there's problems, I'm going to cause problems... unfortunately. What I quoted up there^ is from their website. So if they don't let me return the stuff, they are lying to my face. Know what I'm saying? I like I said, I am expecting problems. I am at least expecting store credit.

It probably depends on the store and associate/manager you talk to

Take a copy of the policy !!! That way they cant deny you. That's a good idea. I'll just print out what I quoted and keep it in my pocket while I go in there.

if i bought a figure at target i could return it to walmart? Yes you could but you would just get a gift card. As long as they carry the same thing as Target. And yes they can deny you a return if they want and you bringing a printed policy with you will just make you look like a fool. As long as they still have the product you are returning and you have your drivers license you will be ok. They will swipe your drivers license and if you have more than 3 returns w/out receipt in the past 6 months they will deny you.

So I just got back:
WalMart # 1 - They just straight up told me they don't do returns without receipts. i said "well, just so you know, it says you do on your corporate website." She then said something about "only for items under $50." me: "Well these items are like $40." She then gave me a number to call for a cash office... and said that they will print me receipts. Yeah she is getting reported. lol.
WalMart #2 - They scanned the items and gave me a gift card. No questions asked.
F*cking goofballs.
