Hey everyone, Its been a while since my last post like this and recently, I've got some pretty good figures, so why not! Also, I finally got some waterslide paper to try my hand at decals. I'm no Dean just yet, but I'm doing all right. One thing I noticed is that the paper works on metal. So, I photoshopped some photos of the US and Internet Championships and erased the gold so I could put them designs onto the gold sheets of metal. Then, I put them onto some leather straps and I think they came out pretty darn good! Here are some current Tag Titles I made with the metals kit I got a while back. I refer to there with the old saying, "Good from far. Far from good." I also repainted the designs onto the WWE Title and IC Title from the Target Champions Pack... And, I did some work to the World Title to give it a little more shine. Looks close to perfect now IMO. And, here's what the back of my releathered belts look like. I cut the nubs off the plates and glue them to the leather. Some times they come off a little, but for the most part, they're fine and fit SO much better and more realistically this way... Now, onto my recent pickups... I just got WM Alberto Del Rio, Kofi Kingston, and John Morrison in the B2G1 sale at TRU. I also got Basic 12 Wade Barrett at Target last week. And, my only Jakks purchase in the past few months at least... Raven from K-Mart. And, a couple fix-ups... Basic 12 Del Rio with smaller arms. Sin Cara... DM Rock with tattoo Thanks for looking!

Great custom belts, they look awesome. I was waiting for someone to paint the dull plastic championship belts from the target set, and you did a great job. Sweet pick ups as well! thanks for sharing

I'm going to be honest with you..I don't like the paper style belts..they look cheap and sloppy. However the leather backing on the plastic belts look great.
Also I really like that D Byran, and eventhough I never collected RA figs (stopped during R3 and started again w/Mattel) that Raven is beautiful. It looks better than his TTL ROTR3 fig, which is saying a lot.

What arms did you use for Del Rio? I'll be getting the Elite version and I hate that they gave him mega biceps

Sorry if that sounded defensive, but I just want to be clear that they are not paper.

My point was that they LOOK like paper because of how badly you applied the decals. And if you're getting "defensive" on figure belts you made then you need to learn how to take constructive criticism and not be so sensitive. You're the one who posted the pics of them. I'm not bashing you, otherwise I wouldn't of complemented the leather backing you made. If I offended or upset you..that wasn't my attention. Chill.

I never said you were bashing me either, I just simply wanted to make sure it was clear what I did as cutting metal pieces that small is much more difficult than cutting paper. TBH, you're sounding a little defensive. Sorry.

And I have no reason to be defensive on an internet forum. No offense but you're the one repeatedly giving your work excuses. I'm not going to argue about something so miniscule lol If it makes you feel better here: AMAZING WORK MAN AWESOME BELTS 10/10 BEST EVER!!!!

All I was doing was making sure you knew they were metal and you're the one getting all bent out of shape here.

I dont like the belts at all.. Mattels are way better.. I mean you did good for making them yourself but i wouldnt be so quick too buy those and replace these awesome mattel belts with them or even the jakks belts but i do like the leather backing to them and i mean the decals on them are pretty nice (just a bit dull on the metal though) there not the worse but i am just not feeling them. They def had too be hard too make cutting that metal like that and so small. Whats up with the custom Jinder Mahall?? Whose head is that? it does almost look like Jinder for sure though so i do like that alot lol good job

That's an old Chavo head. It works for now, but I had repainted the skin a few times a long time ago for a different custom. It's just barely usable. I'll be glad when we get a Mattel Mahal though.
