Was Cole just assuming or was Cody Rhodes Rumbler figure really in that graphic they showed last night.

I already deleted Raw off my DVR so I couldn't go back and look. I'm guessing Cole was just assuming. I honestly heard Cole say it, and I just brushed it off.
However, I asked Mattel in the Q&A if we would be seeing Rhodes and Ziggler make their Rumblers debuts in the near future and they said yes. Meaning we will probably be getting both of them very soon.

No there is no rhodes rumbler i heard him say that too and thought dude what the hell is he even talking about lol just being michael cole i guess supporting the heels making them sound real big

They get this stuff wrong all the time. Cole said he couldn't wait to hear Booker's commentary in the WWE '12 video game, and Booker doesn't have any commentary in the game at all. They just assume this stuff when it's not really happening.

Didn't Booker or Lawler say they had a figure in K-mart recently? You'd think they'd have a better idea of what was being produced.

Its dry sarcasm is what it is.. dont believe everything you hear is true.. Michael Cole is a HEEL commentator so when he says stuff hyping a cody rhodes figure, its all in humor and just being used too hype up Cody's fame.. also Michael cole was just being a D Bag toward booker because Cole is on commentary on the game and Booker is not.. he was being a smart ass about it

To be fair the commercial spot happened as Cody was coming to the ring, he was just including him because of relevance more so than anything else. King asked if the rumbler came with the mask and Cole said he thought so. Again it was relevance of promoting a product involving your own when a match is about to happen and just threw that character in the mix. I think some are thinking too deep into.
As for the video game stuff, at first I thought he was serious until I re-checked and yea sunglassessteve hits that part on the head.

It was a weird spot to plug the rumblers as neither wrestler had a rumbler.
Maybe they did it there cus Sin Cara is aimed at Kids I don't know, but they would have been better to do it at the start of ADR v Morrison as both have new rumblers out, ADR his first and Morrison a new mold.

I'm sure I looked like an idiot to my wife and sister, telling them "He doesn't know what he's talking about, Booker doesn't have a figure yet? and he couldn't be talking about a TNA figure cause I don't think Booker got one of those either....." The funny thing is, I think I remember Lawler saying the exact same thing about Jack Swagger a couple of weeks before this. So I'm assuming they have to mention the action figures every so often during commentary or something. |
