Okay so when I go to turn my computer on, it'll start to boot up, showing the Windows logo and say "Starting Windows" and then the logo goes away and a cursor appears. But nothing else. And it sits there. And doesn't boot past that point. Anyone know what that could be? I know the HDD isn't shot because it wouldn't even start to boot Windows. Should I try to run the Startup Repair off like a Windows install disc, or maybe just get my hands on a clean copy of Windows and just install that? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you know what you should try. Disk repair will have the least potential for being destructive to your install, and the next step would be a re-install of Windows.
