We still doing this Hollywood Hogan thing? Just finished mine up this morning. Add it to the list! I used a HOF2 Hogan as the base, short calves, modified Jakks CS boots, a Jakks bandana, modified Giant nWo shirt, e34 boa, painted HOF2 cross necklace, e34 painted glasses, Nash nWO belt, Jakks Hogan weight belt...I'm pretty sure that's everything. Also finished a Mega Powers Savage, which was pretty quick and easy. Just a knee pad swap and a quick re-paint of the trunks. Last but not least is my custom Magnum TA. Thanks to Wars for the custom head. Otherwise I'd be stuck using a beat up old modified Jake Roberts in it's place. HOF2 Hogan boots, on an Arn Anderson body, with a Jakks Smoking Gunns vest (I think). Just seen this. Very awesome. Was that jakks Hollywood bandanna remove able?

Attempting to open up a Basic torso. If that goes well, I'll be happy trying again with an Elite.

@apocalypse yeah the Jakks bandana is removable and fits very, very well. It looks and feels like it was made for the HOF2 Hogan head.

Actually, I used a hairdryer to do it. I gave up on water after being scalded one too many times, ha ha. I've put it back together now. The waist is a bit loose, but it's not too bad.

Pedigree - Nice! What were the steps for using the CS boots? I might give that a try myself. It's not perfect, I'll start by saying that... I heated up the Jakks lower leg and removed it from the figure. My girlfriend does a lot of cooking so she has some very massive knives. I used one to make a smooth, clean cut across the top of the boot (the Jakks CS boots aren't separate pieces the way Mattel boots are). II also trimmed down the peg from the bottom of the leg too. That's pretty much it. The boot itself fits the lower leg just fine. No overhang or anything. You can also just use some super glue if you don't care about the lack of movement. I hope she didn't see you use her knive to cut through a figure. My wife would kill me if I used a kitchen knife on something like that. lol

ellisd nice job with both of those Hogans. The lightning bolts came out really well. Thanks. I did those last night. Was gonna just do them in one color, but decided to mix a little white with the blue paint I was using and make them two tone. Since taking the pictures, I've raised the head on the NWO Hogan.
