Ok I've got a question for everyone, and It may have been asked before by someone. But I've not seen it anywhere.
Why were Classic Series 1 Shawn Michaels and Classic Series 1 HHH the only ones in the line with a real picture of the wrestler on the side of the packaging? I could understand if all of Series 1 was like this and then they decided to go with something different with the next series. But its just those 2 out of series 1 and then none of the rest of the line is this way. Also, the Shawn pictured on the side is a different era than the figure.
I thought it may have been because they were the only ones working for the company when series 1 came out...but The Undertaker was there as well. So that wouldn't be the reason.
I'm not sure why this was, but I wish the entire series was like this. I love the Classic Superstar series and the packaging. But I would have loved to have a picture of the wrestler from the era the figure was representing on the package. I mean we didn't really need a picture of the figure on the side...cause the figure was in the box lol.

I think JAKKS was playing around a bit with the design of the packaging. My guess it they started with HBK & HHH but after maybe didn't like the way the packaging looked or probably figured it would be harder and more expensive due to paying for some photos of future signings. Thus taking a picture of a figure they already own would probably be more cost effective.
Just a educated guess. I should ask this to Jeremy when I get a chance.

I would love to know the official answer, as that question has been bugging me since series 1 first came out lol

Ive wondered this myself. I always figured it was because Hunter is married to the family & Shawn is his best friend.
