There is absolutely no way that this comparison to TNA hasn't been brought up during production meetings or when these little segments are scripted within the WWE. As much as some people would like to deny it, it's a safe bet that many agents, writers, and other management officials look to TNA for sources, just as they look to current world news (Wallstreet) and secondary promotions.
Ever since the CM Punk shoot angle, the company has gone into a complete reality phase where social media and "shoot" segments are extremely useful in pushing storylines forward. TNA has been doing this for the past two years.
So what if they're ripping TNA off? It works for what they're doing and that's all that matters.

So you don't like reality? Would you rather it go back to like the 80's where Superstars had ridculous, over the top gimmicks? Or even the 90's in everyone's precious attitude era where things happened like Triple H getting dropped off of a forklift in a car and surviving it? Yeah, I'll take reality. If I wanted to watch reality TV, Id watch the news. the news is reality? thats news to me.
