Mattel said kids don't buy em BUT I remember when I was a kid and I say a women wrestler figure I would ALWAYS buy it over a male wrestler so I could feel her boobies or look up the skirt or make my figures do naughty things lol. Maybe that's just me being a perverted kid but I guess now a days most kids are gay and think "yucki girls, I like boys!" These days kids have the internet, they don't need plastic female toys to get off on

There out there.. i see Michelle McCool's and Eve figures quite often.. not too mention Mickie James and Beth Phoenix as well.. Type them in on Amazon and the other competitors sites, i bet they have them all waiting too be ordered.. there out there and no one is buying them. sure they may be a little harder in some towns too find but there online everywhere and in other ppl's stores.. thats what im saying is before just assuming there are none you gotta look other places because you can get them all over.. and until those Divas sell out, and real fast, were never gonna get more divas you see.. Even scalpers who buy Divas too sell, they may have bought a whole shipment of Divas too get rid of and be sittin on them cause no one will buy from them. There out there you just gotta look and be willing too pay for them. Mattel dont make that many either, because again, most boys (which is what collects these), are not trying too buy female dolls right away like that when there are better competitors figures hitting shelves in the same series. When you see them go up for pre order on RSC, buy them then you wont have the troubles of not finding thme in stores or paying way too much from other online retailers or not having them at all. Well I've been to stores in CT & RI and I never see any Diva's sitting on the pegs there. The only time I see them is right when a new case has been put out. Also if online stores have them that doesn't matter. Mattel said to buy them or they sit in the warehouse. If an online store has them that means they already purchased them from Mattel. As for pre-ordering online no thanks. I'm not going to pay 2-3x the amount of retail. But again that goes back to my point that even at higher prices they do still seem to sell very well. So there is some kind of demand there. Also I wasn't saying that I myself can't find them ever. I usually always have the first shot when they put a new case out because I go figure hunting when stores open. The only one I've never seen at all period is Natalya. But that's because no stores ever stocked Series 9 here. What I'm saying is Mattel makes it seem like the girls just sit around on the pegs forever and that's not the case. If they were so widely available and easy to obtain than people wouldn't pay crazy prices for them online.

I don't get how you see EVE she hasn't been anywhere around me and with the whole Mickie James thing she did eventually sell but when her figure came out she was no longer with wwe so that was deffinetly a big part of her sitting on shelfs! Also I remember someone on here saying something about a Bella set not selling well because it is a two pack with divas which is complete bull that will fly off shelves just like every other diva did and will.

I was just thinking if there was a lot less demand for female figures and they don't sell well why would they have even put Liz in the Legends poll?

An extremey small amount of kids probably buy them, but for the most part they would prefer their 3rd Cena over the Bella twins. The Mattycollector line is for adult collectors...Elizabeth will be very popular. She never would have made a store wave as even the male classics didn't sell. Scott from Mattel told us not long ago that the current Divas sell well enough that they will be kept in store waves instead of being released as internet exclusives. They won't be in every wave...but they are trying to make them. Plus, we currently have Vickie, Layla & the Bellas coming out. That's pretty good IMO.

If they had trouble selling guys and they say female figures sell even less why would they even take the risk in making Liz? I mean I'm not arguing about it. I love the fact Liz is getting a figure. Hell I hope they release a lot more female legends like Lita & Trish.

That's just it though. If they had trouble selling guys and they say female figures sell even less why would they even take the risk in making Liz? Liz is being made in the MattyCollector line because she will (imaginably) sell very well with that kind of release. This is not a store wave where they will worry about her sitting on shelves forever & they will undoubtedly make a much smaller amount of these exclusives so it is not as many units to move. I know the Diva fans get upset when Mattel says the females don't sell as well, but it's just a simple fact. They need more time to sell through which is why they are not in every wave. You will notice that even though most toy companies complain about female figures (or male figures in doll lines), they still make them...which is really all we can ask. I mean, do you think Ken sells as well as Barbie?

I should add that, in short, making female figures is a risk Mattel are willing to take in order to keep us (the collectors) happy.

Dunno what too tell ya man.. its either one or the other.. if you want something bad enough, and you cant find it in stores, you gotta order it online or do with out.. sucks i know but what else ya gonna do.. thats the way Mattel has it and the way the Divas figures are selling.. I dont have any divas and eventually, i do want too collect them.. gonna start with Layla and Michelle very soon now that i have a nice male superstar roster collected. Im going too eventually want one of every diva too so ill be pre ordering all the new ones coming out right away and if i miss one and she is $40 online, im gonna pay it cause i want it.. ya either do it or ya dont ya know..
