First of all I'm pretty disappointed to only see only one new Diva was shown at Ringside Fest. I don't want her but what happened to Alicia Fox?
Secondly this makes absolutely no sense "There are plans to release new versions of some of the Divas, including Kelly Kelly and Beth Phoenix. The female characters are paced out because unfortunately, they don’t sell as many as the male characters and told fans that if they want more, buy the ones that are released. If the product sits on the shelves, the newer stuff will be backed up in warehouses because the older releases don’t move out of stores. They want to do as many Divas as they can.".
Are you serious Mattel? The Divas are always the ones to sell out first online and in stores. They are usually the hardest to find and always go for the most money online. How can you tell people if they want more to go buy them when we are already doing so?
Also there's 8 other girls on the roster who haven't had a figure yet. How about putting them out first before you go making another Kelly or Beth.

I commented on this in the RF Q&A thread. It's a really silly answer on Mattel's part.

I don't know about the Divas selling the best in stores. To the online pervs who love to collect divas yeah they do really well but in stores I usually see them sitting on the shelf. The only reason some of them do sell out quicker is because they are short packed. Mattel is releasing divas and wrestlers in suits a very smart way.

The only Diva I ever saw sitting on the shelves for a while was Mickie. That had to do with her being released from the WWE at the same time of the figure release and Mattel over producing it (which they already admitted was a mistake).

They meant they are going too work on RE-RELEASING some of those divas who were already made like Kelly Kelly, Beth Phoenix etc basically the popular ones who will sell... and Divas dont sell as well as the Male Elite superstars do. The only reason there so much online is because there is a limited number of them made. If they over produced these Divas, they would just end up sitting around in Stores and at the warehouse never being bought.. Im not a big Divas collector. I honestly have no desire too buy any of them until im all caught up with the males and there are many other buyers, collectors and kids out there who feel the same way. What normal Boy/ Man wants too have a whole shelf of girl dolls in his room ha sorry but thats a little weird.. those guys may as well just start buying Barbie dolls ya know? but yeah I understand where there coming from. Most Divas warm up the shelves around my way too anyways. The only one i found that was hard too get was kelly kelly and thats cause i was late joining the collecting frenzy this year adn she was already made and jacked up too $50 online but i have not had a prob seeing any of them in stores, even though i have not bought them.

It clearly says NEW versions of Kelly & Beth. Which is why I said how about getting at least 1 of every other girl first. Second I'm not saying they need to produce them in more numbers. Stick with 1 per box but at least but at least make new ones. Also I don't believe in that whole that boys not wanting girl figures. When I was younger I bought Liz, Sable, Marlena, Luna etc. I didn't care that they were girls. I mean it wasn't just WWE either I bought April from TMNT, girls from GI Joe etc.

Do we really need another thread about this? Ugh. If they sold better, they'd make more. They've had to short-pack them in recent waves and they've said they still haven't sold real well.

I understand that Divas don't sell as well and why they need to be short-packed. I only wish they'd be released more frequently so they can at least get them out there instead of holding them back for months before they pull the trigger on one. We lost out on our chance for a Gail Kim figure because of this.
Looking at the current roster, I see that only 18 names are left to be made. Right now it's a 50/50 split between Divas and Superstars. That's not so bad but if Divas are spaced out too much, it'll take forever to see them. Laycool is only just now scheduled to be complete when Layla should've followed Michelle McCool in B8, IMO.
Divas don't seem to have an active shelf life on the roster and certainly don't get enough TV time for Mattel's exposure criteria. I don't mind a new Kelly Kelly or DoD/SoS Beth & Natty but I still want to see Divas like AJ, Kaitlyn, Aksana, and Kharma get made before they're released!
It may suck for collectors but short-packing them seems to work well at retail. Mickie James was grossly over-produced and the only other Diva that pegwarmed in my area was Michelle McCool. Melina was available for a while but even she sold out after a bit. The rest of the Divas have done better at retail than Jericho, Skip Sheffield, Primo, Ted DiBiase, and William Regal!

i'm sorry but a figure of Rosa or Alicia arent gonna fly of the shelves. So i can understand why Mattel is taking their time releasing diva's. I'm just happy to finally get a chance to have LayCool

yeah thats what i was saying too.. There basically gonna remake those Divas and push them out because they know there going too sell better plus save us $50 on scalping prices from buying the already released Kelly Kelly and them haha I use too buy the Jakks Sable and Marlena and them too, but they were never my first priority really.. I only bought them because they came with a wrestler i wanted plus i had such a collection and was playing with them 15 years ago that i wanted managers then and stuff, but if it was not for those Divas coming with Wrestlers at the time or if i didnt have a nice Jakks BCA collection then, i would have never had an interest in buying them. Sure there are ppl who do, but the big thing is, Boys will be boys and they dont wanna be buying girl dolls and there friends come over and tease them about it etc etc. Im just saying i can understand where Mattel is coming from on all this. They are making Divas, just getting the main priorities done before them. They just gotta make sure there making money and keeping the business going with out going under..

I want the Bellas, Trish, Lita, Stephanie, Chyna (yeah right), Sunny, and Kaitlyn.
I'd like Mattel to make figures of them as well.
I also think it would be cool if Mattel had a Kharma figure ready to roll out upon her return.
