Jakks posts are much thinner than the Matty ones. IN fact I don't even know how to take the upper portion of the Matty posts off the ring. Anyone else?

What you mean Naparo? You dunno how too take the posts outta the ring once there in?? You just pull them out.. straight out.. takes a little strength cause they kinda almost snap into place but they will come out
