I decided to add a shelf to my room for wrestlers who have been the WWE champion. I am putting them in order from when they won it. Since I was doing this, I thought I would pass on the list of wrestlers who have not got a Mattel figure made in the Legends/Elite style. Here is who we got:
-Buddy Rogers -Bruno Sammartino (jakks) -Ivan Koloff (jakks) -Pedro Morales -Stan Stasiak -Billy Graham (jakks) -Bob Backlund (jakks) -Antonio Inoki -Hulk Hogan (jakks) -Ric Flair (jakks) -Diesel (jakks) -Sycho Sid (jakks) -Mankind (jakks) -Kurt Angle (jakks) -Brock Lesnar (jakks) -JBL (jakks) -Rob Van Dam (jakks) -Jeff Hardy (jakks)
Here is a list of who we have so far:
-John Cena -Bret Hart -Triple H -Steve Austin -Randy Savage -Randy Orton -Shawn Michaels -The Rock -Ultimate Warrior -Yokozuna* -Undertaker -Sheamus -The Miz -Edge -Eddie Guerrero -Chris Jericho -Alberto Del Rio -Big Show -Sgt. Slaughter -Batista -CM Punk -Iron Sheik -Mr. McMahon -Kane -Rey Mysterio -Andre the Giant*
So, out of a possible 43 WWE Champions, Mattel has already covered 26 of them in action figure form. That isn't too bad for less than 2 years with the license.
However, instead of everyone clammoring for Doink and Magnum TA, let's start clammoring for Bruno, Pedro Morales, or Inoki!
Hope this list is helpful to someone other than me.

If attitude era fans are giving us grief that Magnum TA is boring, do you really think Bruno, Pedro and Antonio bring anything better to the table in terms of gimmick/looks/colour? Inoki is a pair of black trunks and short black boots, that's it. Throw in Mr. Perfect's white towel and you're done.

Not saying anything bad about Magnum TA, I'm just stating that we should try and get all the champions before guys like him just because they were a bigger role in the history of the WWE.

Doubt we get any of the top 9. If the Legends line hangs around long enough, we will get a Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair some day. Sooner or later they will leave TNA. I could easily see a Billy Graham figure made someday as well.

But didn't he sell his HOF ring? I think Vince wouldn't allow it after that. Flair and Hogan returning to the WWE = money and Vince likes money. So, pretty sure he would allow it.

^^^^^^^^^^^
He was referring to Graham selling his HOF ring on Ebay a few years back. There might definitely be so heat on him after that. Shame. He was mad about Abdullah being inducted.
Of everybody not made, god i would love a Van Dam!

Of everybody not made, god i would love a Van Dam! Hmmm....I guess I wasn't aware that happened. Honestly though, they gave it to him. Isn't it his to do whatever he wants to do with it? On a side note though, between Mattel and Jakks we have 38/43 WWE champions. That's pretty sweet I guess. No Buddy Rogers, Ivan Koloff, Pedro Morales, Antonio Inoki or Stan Stasiak is all.

Stan Stasiak is the only true longshot imo. The other 4 were big players.

Lets debate about who are the best figures Mattel has made of their list of champions, that have multiple figures made: -John Cena -Bret Hart -Triple H -Steve Austin -Randy Savage -Randy Orton -Shawn Michaels -The Rock -Ultimate Warrior -Undertaker -Sheamus -The Miz -Edge -Chris Jericho -Alberto Del Rio -Big Show -Batista -CM Punk -Iron Sheik -Kane -Rey Mysterio I'm not aware of all of the elite sets and the figures in each, just looking for a good representation of each.

Of the ones that haven't been made, I would most like to see Hogan, Flair, Diesel, and Backlund.
Sid would be great too, but I'd love to see Mattel make him in his colored trunks (Sid Justice) or singlets (Sid Vicious, WCW).

Jakks Made Koloff. He's based on his 80s look, but he still exists Does WWE count Inoki as champ now? I didn't think they ever recognized it. I would still like an Inoki legends figure though. I've also been wanting a Rogers since pretty early in the Jakks line. I don't think we'll ever see his figure, but I would buy it if we did.

I didn't realize they made that. List corrected. As for Inoki, they must recognize it now because I got this list from their website.

I would love a Sammartino fig. I actually got to meet him this weekend, he was a real awesome guy. I honestly don't see a Bruno fig getting made from Mattel though. He told me that he turned down his offer for the WWE hall of fame, so I don't know if they'll make a fig of him.

Jakks made one, so there's some hope Took an updated WWE Champ shot. I would have liked to put Vince in there but who knows when that will arrive.
