Idk if its just me but I find that a lot of mattel figures paint seems to either fade or chip easily. Things like eyebrows and small details especially.

Fading, not really, but I have had a decent amount of figures with chips or smudged paint apps. It's awesome to find out you spent $20 on a figure and it's ed up. I think I first experienced it with the Heritage CM Punk, and it has continued as recently as Basic 12 Del Rio, which I have seen a ton of chips on those figures everywhere I go. I know we have brought it up to Mattel before, but I have no idea if anything is actually being done. It's my biggest issue with Mattel personally.

yeah noticed this earlier, my son has the TLC Sheamus and he is missing an eyebrow and half the other one. Also his Randy Orton has balding spots. He plays with his so it was to be expected but he has Jakks figures that don't have these marks even though are used more.

Yeah I keep my figures stored at the moment, and eyebrows are my biggest nitpick. I love mattels product and don't like complaining about stuff but that has been a problem with some of the figures. Especially Alberto del rio. Both figures I have of him him have their eyebrows almost gone.

I haven't had a problem with fading yet, but have noticed a few paint chips here and there.

So far I've had very little to no problems with Mattel's figures.
The only figure that gave me a little bit of an issue was Bam Bam Biegelow who's flame paint kept chipping.

Yes, my Undertaker & Edge's tattoos are fading, and the colour on Edges attire is starting to fade

My E6 Goldust and E5 Rey have problems with fading. It seems to be the gold paint

Are you guys sure you're not displaying these figures with direct sunlight on them? Just thought I'd ask because that's usually the cause of paint fading!

I've noticed some really odd fading problems. The gold paint on the thigh pieces of my elite 3 Miz has faded away almost completely, but the same color is still on the knee joint in the back and the lower part of the pants. The gold details on my basic Regal has faded significantly as well. Forced to agree with AC that something is wonky with the gold.
