I'm putting together a word mash-up looking at why we collect Mattel's WWE action figures, my aim is to see which words and reasons are mentioned the most.
Your responses do not have to be in-depth!! Just a few words that you think summarise why YOU collect these figures and why Mattel has made them appealing to YOU.
Here's my example as to why I collect these figures:
Detailed, Enjoyable, Hobby, Fun, Animation.
I will post the results of this social experiment in a few days but for now would like to say a huge thank you to anyone that takes part!!

Lets see here... For one thing they are all in scale with one another unlike Jakks figures. They are fun to collect and they aren't cartoonish looking. They have tighter joints and stand up well on their own.

I love the WWE. Wrestling has been my biggest interest for the past 11-12 years. Collecting figures is a great hobby and keeps me busy. Gives me something to look forward to each day. Wrestling, my collecting hobby and my job are what keep me running. I guess it's an addiction, and a damn good one. I don't need anything like drugs or alcohol to keep my head up and keep me motivated in life. It's simply put a mental addiction.

1) I am a fan of the wrestler. I do not buy figures of guys who I dont find entertaining.
2) If I am not a big fan of the wrestler, but Mattel did a great job with their wrestling attire, I would buy that figure. Elite 8 Drew Mac is an example of this.

Because I love the WWE and love collecting figures. It's a great hobby and the figures are so much fun to collect because of the detail, right scale, and effort put in to these figures.

Just like JCF said, it keeps me busy almost all the time and I really enjoyed staring at all my collections whenever i just reach home from work/outing. So i hv no reason to stop collecting Mattel wrestling figs. Its a very fun hobby

My brother actually got me started. He started watching it in early 2004 and got me hooked. Orton was my favorite since then, now he's.......different. Our first figures were the AD Bashams, and the Cena/Show WM Set. After that, we started getting the ones we liked. After he gave up on them, I took all of his. Since then I have been collecting. I love displaying them and when I have time over the summer cause I won't be in school, I'll get to do some animations and maybe some feds.

i love wrestling and action figures and was just so impressed by the scale and detailing and articulation of the elite style figures and the Elite accessories the title belts alone are works of art

1. I've been a wrestling fan my entire life
2. Action figures were always my favorite kinda of toys when I was a kid. It was either GI Joes, wrestlers, Turtles, or XMen...with an occasional HeMan or Transformer.
3. Although I don't play with them like I used to, I still love to mess around with a couple every now and then.
4. They're fun to collect and display.
