Mattel really improved their clothing stuff on figures lately. The shirts use to cover tight designs which I felt was a waste and made me not want to display them with the clothes on. But Elite Cody here has the perfect sized jacket so that you can see his attire as well! Just wanted to point this out. This is why I wasn't too excited about a Punk figure with his Best in the World shirt, but now I think it will turn out great. And that new T Shirt material is much better in my opinion also. Not that this jacket uses it. I'm really looking forward to the TRU Daniel Bryan with his first ever shirt. It's just a shame the Legends line will be so limited and won't get much of this great treatment. Nearly all the figures announced won't come with any clothing.

I'm really happy with this figure, looks great on my shelf. I put the "old" IC title in the paper bag lol

All those years of Mattel making Barbies is finally paying off for us wrestling fans. I wonder when the WWE Dreamhouse and red Corvette will be out for my Elites

All those years of Mattel making Barbies is finally paying off for us wrestling fans. Now that you mention it they have been doing toy clothes since the dawn of time. Maybe I shouldn't be so impressed... Aw well. The first stuff wasn't bad by any stretch.

Let's just hope they stay away from rubber shirts (like the one on Orton).

Maybe next round of questions I will ask them that. It would be a good distraction from the usual when is X getting made, why does X have Y etc...

Let's just hope they stay away from rubber shirts (like the one on Orton). I didn't mind the rubber shirt on Rey, but the one for Randy just looks bad. That's the only figure from Elite 12 I've passed on, and it looks to me like he's going to be a bit of a pegwarmer. Same old black/red trunks, no beard, lame rubber shirt - not a great combination for success. Ringside is selling him for ten bucks - the sales numbers for that fig must be horrible.

Yeah I actually like it on Rey Mysterio. The Orton 1 is just... bad. And yep, that Orton figure is a shelfwarmer here too.

Rubber shirts work much better for the half-shirts like Rey has, or like HBK usually wore or many guys from the 90s. Otherwise, yeah, they don't work well at all. I think a guy like Cena might look good in one just because he wears extra baggy shirts, but otherwise, I really like the new fabric they're using.

I've been to 2 K-Marts this week and seen about 8 E12 Ortons. He's not very popular at all.
Glad to see Cody's jacket looks alright. Hopefully that is a sign of things to come for future shirts.
