Is there any word if they are gonna ombine all the episodes into it's own standalone game as just Sonic 4? That'd be rad. I only played bits of Episode 1 but I love Sonic...

Can they possibly milk this out any longer? How many parts is this 4? I expected an episode out every 6 months or so

Was hoping for that to include something I didn't already know about it. Well, I'm still excited for this. Haven't played the first one pass the demo because my friend said the first level was the only good one, but I'm definitely getting this one. I'll probably end up buying Episode one before this one comes out. That kind of depends on how long I can play Sonic Generations and be content with my Sonic intake.

Each game is made for a different audience, and they're all different from one another. Some people only play the Wii games, some only play the DS games, and some only play the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 games. The number of episodes was never revealed but one could guess it might end with three.

Sounds to me like he's just being negative. While I do have my favorite and least favorite levels in Episode I, they're all fun and unique. There is plenty to do in the game to keep you busy until Episode II is released; Score Mode, Time Attack, Online Leaderboards, Achievements/Trophies. I recommend downloading Episode I before playing Episode II. It's been out for over a year and I still play it regularly.

Yeah, I downloaded it earlier today, and had fun playing it for awhile before moving to Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2. Got to try at least one act from every level (well, except that last one obviously [although that could just be a boss, I don't know), and I've liked them all so far. I don't really see myself playing it all to much after I beat it though, as I have a lot of other Sonic games to play while I wait for Episoide II. Anyway, between this and those challenges in Generations, I'm more than content right now with Sonic.

Episode I was a huge letdown. I'll still grab II though, I imagine.

Just didn't care for it, to be honest. I didn't like the way it looked, or the way Sonic felt nothing like he should (granted, it's a separate game from the others and therefore feeling different is to be expected) but it was hailed as a true sequel and it doesn't feel like one. The homing attack was cheap and made the already easy game, easier. I know that it was added in Adventure, but it just didn't work on a 2D platform at all.
I also thought the level design was boring and (again) far too easy. Sonic wasn't exactly Super Meat Boy when it came to difficulty, but it had a challenge to it. Don't get me wrong, I didn't think it was the worst game ever released; just not the return to form that a lot of people hailed it as.
Maybe Episode II will change my mind on that? Who knows, that's why I'll be trying it out.

Sega should stick to the original concept instead of adding elements of modern Sonic. Episode II should be in real 2D like Mega Man 9 & 10, and should exclude the Homing Attack. It did make the game quite easy. I'd love for the game to look and feel like Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

Sonic 4.1 wasn't all that great in my opinion. I'm probably in the minority, but I'd love to see a Sonic Adventure 3 without all the bull crap.

The gameplay trailer looks awesome. Definitely going to get this one. Sonic 4.1 wasn't all that great in my opinion. I'm probably in the minority, but I'd love to see a Sonic Adventure 3 without all the bull crap. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is my favorite Sonic game and my favorite Gamecube game so I'd absolutely love a Sonic Adventure 3.
