Mattewl recently stated in a Q&A that we would be receiving at least one, possibly two new Kelly Kelly figures in 2012. While her first figure was fine, there are some things I would like to see on at least one, if not both releases. 1. Bigger Hair Kelly's hair has been huge lately. I'm guessing the fake to real ratio on her head is at least 2:1 and her figure should reflect that. It looked great at Night of Champions and I really wouldn't mind if it made the figure top heavy. It might affect playability, but "only collecters buy divas" and it would do fine just sitting on a shelf. 2. Shiny/Metallic Paint Apps Kelly is glitzy and her outfits always have some sort of shiny/sparkly aspect to them. STOP using flat paints! Maryse was another diva whose figure came up short because of a boring paint app. Ill also add that all of the divas faces would look better if they were more made up. Lipstick and eyeshadow on a figure make a huge difference in capturing their likeness. 3. New legs/boots Right now there is no scale for the divas, but I would prefer if Kelly was a little shorter. Aside from that, the boots on the basic 6 figure are awful. They needed to come higher up on the calf (about the same height as the kickpads). 4. Accessories There have been rumblings of a diva in an elite series (after some conflicting Q&A answers) and I think Kelly is a prime candidate. I would be happy with a vac metalized/painted divas title, but her arm sleeves or a WWE jersey like she wears for her ring entrance would be cool fabric extras.

the reason shiny paints aren't used is because they cost more. It'd drive up the cost of the figures a lot, on "basic" figures. If there's ever a divas exclusive, it'll probably have all the frills of shiny paint and such. I say exclusive, because an elite diva would NEVER sell. They'd have to short pack them to massive proportions, like one in every other case (like Vickie) and then the production numbers would be so low that the accessory costs would probably outweigh the profit they'd actually make.
The main collectors of WWE toys, the ones who outweigh "adult collectors" 5-1 easily, are young boys between the ages of 3 and 10. And they don't want divas. It's why even when short packed, the divas warm shelves after the initial buzz of collectors and scalpers wears off. Maryse can be found on any shelf around here, still. And I can't look at WWE figures at a store without seeing at least one Mickie James. A higher price point divas figure would sit until it was clearanced off for all but the first wave or two of it. Unless Ringside Collectibles SPECIFICALLY orders a divas exclusive (and considering how bad they got burnt on the Torrie/Trish/Stacy boxset years ago, that's doubtful), then it probably will never happen

The way I look at scale is that Beth was the starting point, and until Kelly it was fine. Michelle and Natalya were right, but Maryse/Eve/Vickie/Layla are all too tall.
I understand divas aren't first class citizens in the WWE or in action figure land but its been CONFIRMED another Kelly is coming and all I'm trying to say here is that if they are going to make them, they should make them right.
I also don't think Maryse or Mickie James have half of the fanbase that Kelly Kelly has. She is the most popular diva on the roster by far, and gets tons of tv time.

^ the reason u can find those two divas is because Mickie wasn't on tv for a while and then was fired so no one wanted her figure. And maryse was a heel her whole career and most kids don't like bad guys. Also, I feel that no one will ever see a Kelly Kelly figure shelf warm

Agreed^^ I do like the Idea of a shiny paint app for Kelly's attire(or any divas attire that has it) but I feel like it won't happen b/c of cost.
