Hey guys and girls.
There's been a lot of hate for Timeline lately and when it changes permanently I'm sure it's only going to increase. Granted a lot of people will just get used to the format and everything but I was wondering, if not, where is everyone going to go for their social networking?
On the whole Myspace has run its course, which sucks, because it was my favourite back in the day. Can anyone see Facebook dying out or a new network taking over?
I find it interesting as a lot of people are a part of the social network.

It seems Twitter is a pretty popular thing but its just such a cluster with people tweeting and retweeting and crap. Ive got one but cant stand to get on it. Hopefully nothing will happen to facebook. All the social network creators havent realized that the more simple and to the point their network is the better off they will be. What killed Myspace was all the garbage they kept adding. Facebook is doing the same thing.

I liked Myspace because you could customize it and it was relatively simple, going back a few years. I liked Facebook because it was simple, it just looks ugly the way its going.

Twitter or Google+ could be decent successors to Facebook. I don't post on my Twitter but I do check it daily.

When I first made a Facebook page, I thought it was worthless. I already had Myspace, and FB just seemed limited and unnecessary. Of course, times change. I'm sure there will be a successor to Facebook - and whoever comes up with it is gonna make some big money.
Twitter seems a lot more inane (and that's saying something!) I hope that's not the direction we are headed.

I like Twitter, I use it but I'd like something a little more advance. I've never heard of Google+?

Google will screw up Google+ before it overtakes FaceBook.

Word is Justin Timberlake now owns MySpace and plans on reviving it. Yea but I think he's going to take it more in the music direction, which I feel it has already been for a few years. Just think, when you want to hear a song by a band, a great place to go it their Myspace page. He will probably try to make Myspace the #1 place people go for bands and such, where as I feel like Youtube is their biggest competition.

I don't think facebook is going anywhere. Google + seems like a big failure if it's plan was to surpass facebook. As for me, I don't use facebook much. Just for event invites and chat sometimes. Twitter's my favourite right now as it's just so simple. However, if it weren't for my twitter being linked to my facebook (as in tweets are posted as statuses), I wouldn't use twitter half as much, since only a handful of people I know use it.
Myspace - now that was the crap! ah 2006, those were the days.

A lot of people are ex-Myspace users, I don't get why they don't just whack it back to what it used to be.

Facebook looks like it got hacked by Myspace with that STUPID TIMELINE thing. I refused to even go on someone's profile that has that crap.

Just throw Youtube, Twitter and Facebook together, and call it 'YouTwitFace'.
