Oh please. To say Ron Paul is any different is insane. They all lie. Agreed. A truthful politician exists in the same universe as the virgin porn star.

Every person ever lies.
But it's the level of lie that makes the difference.

I think it's sad to say that Obama will most likely be re-eleceted. The republican choices arent very good. I wouldnt vote for Romney or Santorum. And I think Ron Paul is just bat poop crazy. Rick Perry appeals to me but he's pretty low down on the totem poll.

Like I said guys, 30 years of consistency. I'm pretty confident he's not going to get into the White House and suddenly turn heel. What things, exactly, do you think he'd change his mind on?

I will not vote for Santorum, Romney, The Newt or Perry.
That's about as much as I know.

I will vote for whoever the Republican nominee is, but I support Rick Santorum. Take a look at his voting record & his personal life. He holds strong moral values, believes in the family, is a devout Catholic man and supports America. He has a plan to cut billions from the deficit, lower taxes, provide jobs and get the economy moving again. He believes that this country is under attack, not only economically, but religiously as well. Obama has done nothing more but criticize religion at every chance he can get. We cannot afford Obama to get re-elected and further destroy this great nation. If he is given four more years - he will destroy the economy, wage a war on Christianity, demolish the military and overstep Congress at every chance he gets. This man should've been impeached a long time ago, but the media refuses to tell us the truth about him. He is a socialist, a dictator and an atheist who would love to see nothing more than this country go down in flames. If you love America, then you will vote Republican to stop this man once and for all.
Vote Republican - Uphold the Constitution & Save America! Vote Obama - the Mayans were right, its the end of the world!

It's getting really sick at this point how many awful things this man says.

Obama has cut off funding to Catholic charities and ordered them to close their adoption agencies because they don't allow gays to adopt children, he has cut off federal funding to Catholic & Christian churches, refuses to stand up for Judeo-Christian principals when they are attacked by atheists & muslims, he has shown his support for the slaughter of Christians in other nations, continues to allow legislation that pushes God out of public places, and allows atheists to protest nativity scenes and other religious customs. If this isn't evidence of a country under attack religiously, then I don't know what is.

How many times did he vote to raise the deficit ceiling again? As far as personal morals, what's moral about having current marriages annulled? What's moral about trying to outlaw birth control? Big shock that you will oppose him then. His views on gays are his own, he will not impose them on the country. He shares my faith principles, my values and my vision for America. If the Constitution is revised to state that marriage is between one man & one woman, then all gay marriage should be unconstitutional from now on, but the current marriages should not be affected.

Then he does, he will still be a better president then the sack of sh** we have now! I have nothing against gay people, but the sanctity of marriage should be protected under the Constitution as one man & one woman. My Catholic faith teaches me that I should love & respect all of God's people, but that doesn't mean I can't disagree with them.

Fair enough. But why should it be unconstitutional? In Catholic belief, "marriage is a faithful, exclusive and lifelong union between one man and one woman, joined as husband and wife in an intimate partnership of life and love. Homosexual unions, do not express full human complementarity and are inherently nonprocreative, so they cannot be given the status of marriage," That is what I firmly believe.

Am I the only one who can't help but think he got voted in purely because he was black? It seemed like everyone thought, 'Well our country is f*cked, so lets seek change and vote for a black guy'. Santorum would be my best bet, but hey, i'm not american. Well these two sentences pretty much go hand in hand for an insane person. At least you're consistent with your craziness. I use that project vote smart website that was posted a few weeks back every so often. When I only answer the questions that are really important to me, Gary Johnson and Obama are the two that take the lead, but I'd have to do a lot more research before then so I can make an educated decision. I don't mean to pry, but I'm interested in how you answered the questions if those were your two top results. They're very much opposites on most things. Gary Johnson and Ron Paul are almost identical on most things, with a few exceptions. If Gary Johnson was your top person, with Obama second (or vice versa), I have to imagine you did it wrong. LMAO. Honestly, I voted on the topics I have strong opinion on. As an almost 19 year old college freshman going to a private school, I have yet to be exposed to how the economy would affect me, or the budget. I don't really understand the whole thing that's going on with health care right now. This will be the first election I'm going to be voting in. I don't want to make an uninformed decision. I guess I can explain which questions I remember answering. The first question I answered is on the topic of abortion. I answered that I am pro-choice. It is my beliefs that is none of anyone else's business whether a woman doesn't want a child or not. I believe the argument that getting an abortion is killing a human being is not really a fair one, because I don't believe it is actually a human until after it is born. I see it more as a "potential human." The fetus can't see, touch, smell, think, or any other function, so why should it be a human? That's kind of like saying masturbation should be outlawed because you are killing millions of "potential humans" every time (I know that's a bit extreme, but you get the point). The next topic I remember answering is gay marriage. Now I answered yes that I support gay marriage, but I think the problem lies in the use of the word "marriage." When I think of "marriage" I think of the Christian institution of holy matrimony, the wedding of a man and a woman. Due to the separation of church and state, I believe that religion should have no part in politics whatsoever. Therefore, it is my belief that marriage should not be a part of government at all, because it is a religious institution. I completely agree that there should be some benefits for those who choose to live together for an extended period of time, and that all couples should be entitled to these benefits, including gay people. The term "marriage" is where the problem truly lies. Next would be foreign policy. I do not support any of the wars we are currently fighting. I think the reason that the countries that we are fighting against hate us so much, is that our government tries to poke their noses in their businesses, and try to bully them around. Just because we have one of the strongest military forces in the world, doesn't mean we should impose it on smaller countries when they do something we don't like. Who cares if Iran has nuclear weapons? They wouldn't be so worried about getting them in the first place if we weren't trying impose our style of government on other nations near them. What Iran is doing is clearly working, since they are one of most economically sound nations in the middle east, why force something they don't want upon them? I could go on, but I'd rather not go on too long of a rant. Those are my three major things, but I also believe that government should continue to enforce greenhouse gas emission laws that they are, and that was the extent of the questions I remember answering. Maybe I'm backwards a bit, but I already knew that.

Read your paragraphs before posting your contradictions. What no one seems to remember is that courts can legally marry people. It's not a term just for religious use anymore. It's become a term for two people looking to be legally bound together out of love. Nothing else. Yes, you can get married in a church. But you don't have to. How many atheists get married? Think about it for a moment. YOUR the ones throwing religion into it, no one else. Yes, there's gay people who believe in god who would be thrilled that they could get married in a church, but they also accept that isn't likely. I separate the church and state, you keep bringing them together.
