Condit vs Diaz will be a great fight, entertainment wise maybe even better than the planned Diaz vs GSP fight.
I'm really looking forward to it and i hope Condit wins by KO/TKO but this is a hard fight to predict the winner. Diaz has looked great recently as well.

Diaz vs. Condit will be a war with Diaz becoming the new champ. Then GSP's first match back from his torn ACL, he'll never be the same. I see Diaz upsetting the world by beating GSP in his first match back. 2012 will turn Diaz into a mega star.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Primetime series... I didn't even know they were doing one for this(!). Should be a great event... I favor Diaz though, especially the longer it goes. Werdum Vs Nelson should be interesting too... I can see Nelson getting submitted if it goes to the ground. Diaz vs. Condit will be a war with Diaz becoming the new champ. Then GSP's first match back from his torn ACL, he'll never be the same. I see Diaz upsetting the world by beating GSP in his first match back. 2012 will turn Diaz into a mega star. I hope GSP comes back healthy - and Diaz continues to win... GSP Vs Diaz is just too good a fight not to happen. I was certain GSP would win - but this injury/lay-off does add a few question marks...

Tonights episode of Primetime was interesting. I was suprised at all the time spent on GSP. I felt like i was seeing the build up for the first ever 3-way MMA fight lol. But im still on the fence with who i, pulling for in the main event. I love both guys so i dont want to see either lose but i know one is going to unless theres a miraculous draw but theres no way i can see that happening with these two.

...will the winner of this have to fight again/defend the interim-title before facing GSP? I've just read that GSP said he'll probably be back around November...

If health permits, then I'd imagine so.

I don't see the point of an interim championship, no one gives a crap as soon as the real champion is back. =/

Yeah the winner automatically gets GSP when he's ready so its essentially a number one contender fight. In all honesty though i see whoever wins weather it be Diaz or Condit defeating GSP.

I feel the same way...oddly.
I just feel this is a weird period in the WW division...Fitch has fallen from Grace...numerous legit contenders that GSP hasn't faced...and GSP is out for a very loooong time.
I feel that when he comes back he will not be the same. Whoever wins on Saturday has the potential to stay champion for a very long time.

Nick Diaz Vs Carlos Condit - Third Round TKO
Roy Nelson Vs Fabricio Werdum - First Round KO
Josh Koscheck Vs Mike Pierce - Unanimous Decision
Renan Barao Vs Scott Jorgenson - Unanimous Decision
Ed Herman Vs Clifford Starks - First Round Submission
I agree that whoever wins this Saturday, between Diaz and Condit, may very well beat GSP upon his return and stay champ for awhile. So if that's the case, I so hope it's Condit. But man is it hard to go against Diaz. I don't like the guy, but not only does he not put on boring fights, he is a legit fighter! Rooting for Carlos all the way, but I think Diaz takes this.
Nelson Vs Werdum is pretty hard to call. Both guys ju-jitsu pretty much cancels out the possibility of a submission, so I think this will be decided on the feet. I don't see Werdum finishing Roy standing and knowing Roy's suspect conditioning, he might gas before he gets a chance to finish Fabricio. So I'm thinking it will be a decision, but I'm going with a first round finish for Roy, because I think he will actually show up in pretty good condition like his previous fight with Mirko.

Condit making everyone look bad in that sexy ass suit. I know. He looks like a champ already. I really hope he wins. I have no problem with the Diaz Bros personally..or as fighters. I just really like Condit.

I think Diaz/Condit will be a a great fight, but I gotta go with Diaz. I just think he's too tough for Condit.
