How do you win a fight moving backwards for five rounds? I'll leave it at that.

He'll be back, he is just pissed off in the heat of the moment, I can understand how he thinks he won, I thought he did as well, but I do agree that Carlos landed more strikes unless I see otherwise. =/

I don't blame him for leaving MMA, man doesn't get the respect he deserves. I just lost $100 too man what a night, I wish there would have been at least one knock out.

Grats to Condit. I despise Diaz so I was happy to see him lose even though I did want to see GSP/Diaz.
And on initial viewing I thought Condit won the fight 48-47, don't think it was a robbery at all.

I don't know if that was a U/D win or not for Condit, but it is what it is. Don't leave it in the judges hands. And Diaz, man, what a disrespectful . He doesn't need this sh*t he says. That's just flat-out disrespectful. I'm glad he lost. He's a hell of a fighter and tough as sh*t, but I don't think he's got much class. He no-showed the press conference for the original GSP fight and look at his comments tonight. Just no respect. Congrats to Condit for winning the UFC Interim Welterweight title.

Diaz is a joke. Sore loser much? Congrats to Condit for his title victory and for not being goaded into a nasty brawl.

As a fan I would want to give Diaz nearly every round for coming to fight, walking Carlos down. Carlos was backpedaling for 96% of the fight. He landed some great kicks (they weren't baby kicks, Nick, look at your thigh) but he didn't land them in the way Shogun did on Machida, where it told the story of the fight. Carlos used the kicks to avoid fighting Diaz. Very disappointed with what the fight turned out being. I'd be ing frustrated if I was Nick, too. I was upset as a fan.

I don't understand this having "class" BS people rag on guys like Bisping, Sonnen, Koscheck and Diaz for because to be quite blunt. The guys are FIGHTERS, and honestly if he see's that he won that fight and strongly believes it, then he has a right to his opinion to be upset. To be quite honest if I personally thought I'd been robbed of a win after training my ass off for weeks and took on 25 mins of being punched in the face. I'd be pretty P'Od as well. But I suppose this is what happens when you leave it in the hands of the judges, you're entitled to your opinion, but I don't think any less of Diaz.

People aren't really justifying Diaz's actions post fight are they?
That was absolutely pathetic and something I'd hope a 9 year old would be above. Learn to take a loss with a little class. It's reasons like that why I despise Diaz.
I thought Condit pretty clearly outstruck Diaz for the most part and frustrated Diaz into fighting his game. I don't like what Condit did at all, but under the rules of MMA, Condit winning is hardly a robbery, you could argue a close fight but definitely not a robbery.

Didn't really care who won, was more just interested to see how the fight was going to turn out.
Gotta laugh at people who say "Very very close fight....man Diaz was robbed!!" If it's a close fight then really how could someone be robbed?
Condit had the perfect game plan. Was it entertaining? No, but he did what he had to do to get the win. When your fighting for a "belt," I'm sorry but a WIN is a hell of a lot more important then an exciting loss.

You mean fight just to ing get within striking distance, get something going, and then have to chase him down again? Nick just ran enough to make up for whatever triathlon he skipped to train for this fight, just trying to get near Carlos.

Its 4-1 to Condit or 3-2 to Condit.
Only round Diaz 100% won was round 1, i gave him round 2 as well but that could change. 3,4 and 5 diaz was out worked especially round 4. i can't Give Diaz round 5 just for the take down and sub attempts as Condit was already winning the round after the first 3 mins 30 secs of that round and Condit got back to his feet anyway.

First of all, Condit won the fight. But to say Diaz was a sore loser with no class means you know nothing about Diaz or didn't listen to a word he said. He has been doing this sort of stuff for a long time for one, so this is nothing new. What Diaz spoke about tonight was the transition of MMA to a sport more about science and gameplan over just going out and fighting.
Within the context of MMA rules I don't think you could argue that Condit won but the reason Diaz said what he said is because he is a guy that wants to FIGHT and he sees tonight as a representation that it has become less about fighting your opponent and more about executing a gameplan to "win." It was clear that while Condit won he didn't really come to a "fight" but only came to win at whatever cost or however he could. This makes me think no less of Condit but I understand Diaz's frustration over the changing of guys wanting to come out and fight one another. People can talk about not wanting to see Diaz anymore because of his talking but don't start crying when Condit and GSP come out and try to "out-gameplan" one another and it ends in a boring snoozefest.

If Brock said exactly what Diaz said tonight when he lost to Overeem he would be deemed as vile, unsportsmanlike, and most of all a sore loser. Diaz goes off on his rant tonight and people try and justify it as "frustration".
Very well then.
