I don't really have many mattels (just Savage, Steamboat and Rick Rude at the moment) but I plan on getting a few more. I was wondering what the likelyhood of getting a Neidhart to match the already released Pillman, Bulldog and Bret Hart Foundation 1997 faction is?
Jakks really dropped the ball by having all 4 guys signed and only releasing one of them in the attire. Mattel have done 3 of them which is the most of any line, but why not Neidhart?
So what's the likelyhood that they will?

I would love it. Who knows when it will be released though. I would actually want 2 an early 90's hartfoundation and the late 90's version.

I think we absolutely have to get a 97 version. It really makes no sense to give us 3 guys from a stable and not give us the last guy, not including Owen which we will not be getting.

This is the exact attire I want (IYH 16). He actually had two different Hart Foundation Jackets, one that read "Anvil" and one that read "Neidhart". I wonder which one Mattel would use? It'd be nice if they did this one too, it's only ever had one figure, but it didn't have the jacket and bandana.

I also want a two pack of The Hart Foundation asap from Mattel. sales of The Rockers werent encouraging for Mattels standards so hopefully Andre does better so we can get some more Tag teams etc from them.

I wish jakks would try and sign owen, I bet TNA could sign him to a legends deal (Legends of Wrestling 2 and 3 say it's possible if it's not wwe related).

Neidhart by himself? I dont see ever happening. No way would that thing sell. Neidhart with Bret as part of the Hart Foundation tag team. Very possible one day.

Its the absolute truth, Dont get me wrong...Id buy one but lets be honest...Anvil by himself wasnt more then just a lower mid carder. The Pillman didnt sell worth a crap, the Bulldog didnt sell worth a crap....Bret was the only one of the three that sold and thats because he was the bigger name. Anvil just isnt big enough to be a big seller by himself. He'll need Bret to help move the figure along.

What has Anvil done without Bret? Exactly.....He was a curtain jerker tag teamer with Owen, he was known as "The Who" and he was basically the jobber of the Hart Foundation Faction. Without Bret and his time in the Tag team, Anvil wasnt anything special. Im sorry that your man-love/markness over him blinds you on that but Im pretty sure everyone that knows anything about wrestling would agree, Neidhart didnt accomplish anything outside of the Hart Foundation Tag Team.

Anvil was pretty over in his time, he was sheduled to be tag champs with Owen at Mania 11. Was part of one of the most successful and popular tag teams of all time, and part of one of the most popular factions of all time. Anyone who knows anything beyond John Cena would agree that Neidhart was a draw during his time.

He had to completely rely on someone else. Thank you for proving my point.
