All those sharing, I appreciate it!
I don't feel like a "freak".
I've come to the realization I'm a completist like someone said and will embrace it.
But when it comes to Basics I'm only getting those wrestlers which will never be an Elite, mainly the Divas, and a couple of others like The Hurricane, Mike Knowx, Chris Masters, etc.

My problem is i find i need to get everyone or almost all of them and then i do and it takes forever for new stuff to come out. I then get bored and need something else to collect and i move onto something else. It goes in cycles and i end up collecting to much of stuff b/c instead os spacing out my buying i get the i need it all now attitude.
I collected WWE Mattel and got tired of it 1-6 singles and 2 packs. I have and still get all the legends. Then i started collecting Hot Wheels where i bought 10-20 sometimes more at a clip off ebay and what not, it got boring, then i collected Nascar diecast and i had to buy a crapload of them, then i moved to NFL figures and WWE figures here and there. Now i am into Game Used memmrobilia and i buy a little here and there which is good for me b.c its expensive i know i can't buy it all.So i guess i do have something but not sure what to call it.

Then you wont have to worry about collecting a bunch of things or being so bored with waiting for products to get released, you will be thankful then. It takes me a couple months to collect one elite series at least because i pay bills and live on my own and stuff. Now with the legends matty exclusives and extra BOPPV stuff and RSC Exclusives they drop, it gets even harder to keep up.

I have that issue but not with full lines its just a particular figure. I'm compelled to buy just about every single one of the Marvel Universe Cyclops, the only time I resist the urge is when there are multiples which I'm seeing more of so its making my wallet feel better. If there were any Matt Hardy or X-Pac figures I would probably have the same issue but there haven't been any released in awhile.

I've got every Elite, and at least one of everyone who has been released in basic form. I'm pretty OCD about it, I guess. There are guys I think I bought every basic/elite figure of, even though a lot of them are repaints (Kofi, Punk, Edge, Macho Man). I have at least one of every Cena attire. There are guys, like Undertaker, HHH, Orton, Barrett, Sheamus, where I don't feel the need to buy every figure because the repainting is so minor sometimes.

There's certain wrestlers I'll buy every figure they release and with others I like I'll just get either their basic figure or therir Elite depending on which I find first. Then other wrestlers I just pass on altogether.

I get what your saying and in a way I am to. However, I don't want to collect every figure I just want one of each superstar to go with my collection. I also have some of the Elite's that come with robes and stuff because I think those look neat but I won't collect all of them just the ones I find interesting.

I don't know if I am OCD, but I am kinda a completist. Right now I am into hunting for figures from older lines at off the wall stores, like Family Dollar, Tuesday Morning, Gordmans, etc... that can't be found at Walmart, TRU and Target.
I'd like to own at least one of every person Mattel released. At least that's my long team goal, but I am not overly obsessed about doing so.

I'm definitely OCD. I only buy what I really like and if I like it, I have to have one kept sealed. This gets hairy when you collect 1/6th Hot Toys and Sideshow product. Seriously, I am pretty sure it developed as a result of my parents breaking my toys as a kid and always telling me "we'll just fix it" only to have me find it in the pantry all busted up. My father was once messing around with my Mego Superman and snapped his arm off and just laughed hysterically when I was like 7 or so. When I became old enough I started buying an extra "just in case". It's amazing how things like this develop. Was it a type 1 or type 2?

*raises hand*
I own every elite figure released. Every DM, All Stars, EG, RSC Exclusive, diva. I have the majority of basics and 2packs. But I pass on Rumblers & Flex Force.
With Elites, it's a must for me to own them all. Considering I buy them in sets from RSC it only makes sense. Now I'm buying basics & 2packs in complete sets as well (since last January). So I own every figure produced in 2011 & 2012 basically. And the majority of 2010.
Call it obsessive, compulsive, or whatever. The shoe fits, I wear it LOL

I have OCD, but mine does not reach to my wrestling figure purchases. It's nothing to be a shamed of, but might be less of OCD & more of addiction to shopping.
I call it "collector syndrome." I've always collected something, usually more than one thing at a time. I go on sprees where I'll spend a lot, but then if you're strapped for cash --- play a trick on yourself.
I have to tell myself that I'm collecting money in my bank account & get excited when it reaches higher & higher.

I actually refused to collect the Marvel Legends line and things of that nature because it would be insane to go back and collect everything from Series 1.
I'm going to begin collecting Basics of those wrestlers which will not be getting an Elite and if for some reason they do get an Elite I will simply hand the loose figure to my son.

I'm VERY OCD with collecting... thats how I completed the Jakks Classic Superstars line. Did I want a Tony Atlas & Rocky Johnson? or another Jimmy Hart or Ultimate Warrior? Did I care about CS Hardy Boys? No... not in the least... but I still bought them.
